Not sure why so many are having problems with their drives. I own 2 of these 4TB drives. One Ive been using on my PS4 Pro for well over a year now and works perfectly. The 2nd one is a few months old and my Son is using it on his PS4 Pro with no problems. We dont keep our PS4 Pro running 24/7 we Power off when not using them. I dont know if that makes any difference but some people dont turn their consoles off so just FYI.

I think this is a pretty solid choice for an external drive for your PS4 games. I tried it on my PS5 as well, but it only allows someone to save ps4 games that they download instead of PS5 games as well. I find it very helpful as well! I want to say the most dissatisfying part of this is that the 2 tb is more like 1.7 tb somewhere in that area.

this worked without any issues for my Xbox. literally plugged it in, the Xbox recognized it, formatted it all under three minutes. plenty of storage for games now. havent found a way to change the lightning and honestly not worried about that part of it, it does a slow pulsing red light

2 terabytes that you just plug in whenever you want to download/ play a game on it very cool and easy

I plugged it into my PS4 and it said it is not compatible with storage device

This drive died after 16 months, never handled, moved or touched, always was connected to PS4. Poor product, looking into Western Digital drives from now on.
