> 24 hourI just purchased my second one of these (one downstairs, one up). I cant say enough good about this little powerhouse. Suction like you wouldnt believe, very small footprint, storage for the extra tools. Shark really has a winning product here. Do not hesitate!

> 24 hourThis vacuum does it’s job well. It is difficult to get the filter out to clean it. As far as performance it works well as long as you keep the filter clean. I wish it was easier to get to the filter.

> 24 hourThe suction is fair, the tall upright design is odd. The basket needs to be emptied often. A little disappointing to because it feels flimsy. Sharks build quality used to be much better. For lite cleaning it works. Just cant give high ratings.

> 24 hourWhen I was in Canada I purchased one through Amazon.ca and the quality of the product was Crazy-Amazing. Now moved to the US and I found something similar at Costco Wholesale, it was a catastrophe, the succion was so poor and weak, and you had to press 4x times in order to activate it. Long story short, I returned it and bough another one from Amazon.com (US), it works definitely better than the Costco one. But, its less performant than the one I had in Canada. So I will give it a 4 star. It works okay I would say, but its not the strongest vacuum pression Ive seen in my life. Its a good gadget to have if you are in the rush and want to clean quickly your room.

> 24 hourI cant live without this handheld vac. With 3 Boston Terriers, there is fur all over the place, and this significantly helps in cleaning up. The attachments are easy to use, and it charges quickly.

> 24 hourThe Shark ION W1 is an uneccessary indulgence. Yes...there are cheaper options out there to clean counters, vehicle interiors, the spot under your messy-eaters dining chair, but the Shark W1 does it with STYLE. It is not designed to be your primary vacuum cleaner(unless you live in a closet) nor will it lift a brick with its suction power- Lego bricks, however are no match! It will be the vacuum you dont mind using everyday to pick up the little pieces of shredded cheese on your counters or the Cheerios that never make it to your kids(or adults) mouths. The Shark ION W1 comes with a modern base that acts as a charger for the lithium ion battery and a place to keep the two attachments. One is a wand-like tool that has a brush end(I use this for the cars) and the other is tool for cloth upholstery(I use this one for couches). The actual vacuum has a wide opening to handle all the daily pickup needs I listed above. Lots of versatility! As other reviewers have said it certainly is lightweight and not cumbersome like the old-school DustBusters. However, I did not find it to be loud at all like others have mentioned. In fact, its no louder than a hairdryer in my opinion. Also, I have used it daily for the past month and NEVER has the battery went dead on me, but Im not trying to do too much with it either. The suction power I find to be completely adequate considering what it is. Honestly, for the size I am truly impressed at the power! The collection bin certainly is smallish, but its so easy to empty you really cant complain. In fact, the disposal system is my second-favorite feature of this vacuum. My favorite being the overall sleekness factor. This is a vacuum you dont mind keeping out in the open because it looks so good! When you hide things you forget about them and having it in our living room reminds me to do a quick cleaning in some problem areas(mentioned in the beginning). At $110 as of writing I have taken 1 star off, but even that Im really unsure of considering all the positives. Jae

> 24 hourThis is my second hand vac. The first one I purchased was from a big box store. I never had one before and thought it did it’s job pretty well. Then it died. So I thought I’d spend a few extra dollars and buy the Shark. What a difference! This one doesn’t even compare! The suction is ridiculous. It’s sucks up everything! There’s a brush attachment that grabs hair you didn’t even know was there! You don’t have to touch the canister to open it, just slide a little button. Crazy! This is an amazing hand vac and worth every dime. As far as I’m concerned, there is no comparison to any other hand vac. This one is amazing! I haven’t even pulled out my regular vac at all since this purchase. Definitely worth it!!!

> 24 hourI had high hopes for this because I LOVE all my other shark vacuums. I also have a handheld black & decker that is AMAZING. In comparing the two, the shark definitely is not as good. The sharks suction is 1/2 of the B&D, the filter is so tiny you need to clean it after every clean up, and it doesnt even suck up sunflower seeds. I wouldnt buy it again. I would suggest that you buy the B&D one though - great suction, better capacity, and easy to clean.

> 24 hourThe suction power is much better than I expected it to be. I have a husky, and it does a great kob getting her hair off of the stairs smd couches! The charge doesnt last as long as I would like, but its still a great purchase. It recharges fairly quickly, fits on my counter top and came with very useful attachments. Its incredibly easy to empty and lightweight. It does a great job and Im super happy with my purchase!!
