Best hand held vacuum Ive ever had. Impressed by the suction power. I bought this to pick up the mess from mealtime with the kids, but also the random pet hair, and various little crumbs throughout the house. Does a great job, quick and efficient! Long lasting battery life, easy to clean.

The Shark ION W1 is an uneccessary indulgence. Yes...there are cheaper options out there to clean counters, vehicle interiors, the spot under your messy-eaters dining chair, but the Shark W1 does it with STYLE. It is not designed to be your primary vacuum cleaner(unless you live in a closet) nor will it lift a brick with its suction power- Lego bricks, however are no match! It will be the vacuum you dont mind using everyday to pick up the little pieces of shredded cheese on your counters or the Cheerios that never make it to your kids(or adults) mouths. The Shark ION W1 comes with a modern base that acts as a charger for the lithium ion battery and a place to keep the two attachments. One is a wand-like tool that has a brush end(I use this for the cars) and the other is tool for cloth upholstery(I use this one for couches). The actual vacuum has a wide opening to handle all the daily pickup needs I listed above. Lots of versatility! As other reviewers have said it certainly is lightweight and not cumbersome like the old-school DustBusters. However, I did not find it to be loud at all like others have mentioned. In fact, its no louder than a hairdryer in my opinion. Also, I have used it daily for the past month and NEVER has the battery went dead on me, but Im not trying to do too much with it either. The suction power I find to be completely adequate considering what it is. Honestly, for the size I am truly impressed at the power! The collection bin certainly is smallish, but its so easy to empty you really cant complain. In fact, the disposal system is my second-favorite feature of this vacuum. My favorite being the overall sleekness factor. This is a vacuum you dont mind keeping out in the open because it looks so good! When you hide things you forget about them and having it in our living room reminds me to do a quick cleaning in some problem areas(mentioned in the beginning). At $110 as of writing I have taken 1 star off, but even that Im really unsure of considering all the positives. Jae

I purchased this vacuum on 2/4/2020 & at the time I paid less than $100. It served its purpose well for 2 years 9months 21 days and it just died yesterday. It suddenly wont hold charge. It cleans pet hair pretty well and its perfect when I dont want to deal with full size vacuum. I tried cleaning my car but didnt really have enough power for that so I ended up using it at home although I meant to use it for the car.

    Greater than one week

Amazon says I bought this in May 2021. It is a terrific product, but the longevity just isnt there. The suction was great, the few accessories it comes with are great, but after about 18 months, it started to sputter out on us. First it just seemed like the charge wouldnt hold as long, then it would be having to clean the filter after every use, and now were lucky if it lasts 15 seconds. The suction has also started to wane - just cannot get enough juice to suck up the corners or to use the brush attachment for small channels and such. We thought we could just buy another battery but those are just as expensive as the product itself. We will be looking for a replacement, probably trying a different brand.

I just rec’d this hand vac (WV200BJ )and put it through a few easy duty trails. Suction seems good, seems to work as expected, easy to dump dust cup. BUT two things: Ordered Cove color because I wanted Cove color. I got dark blue. At this point I’m too tired of Xmas hassles to return so I will keep the one received. But darn it, I ordered Cove. Plus I paid higher price over other colors to get Cove. More importantly i have some design concerns regarding how securely this sits in its cradle to charge. It’s seems a funky loose fit so you have to fiddle with it to sit correctly to generate the blue pulsating light( charging). The two charging electrical connections on the station must match the 2 corresponding connections on the vac while it sits (rather loosely) in the cradle. Looking closer I noticed one (of two) electrical connections on the station gets stuck inside its plastic housing cutout making it unavailable to get in correct position to charge. I had to coax it out so a connection was made. Not acceptable in my eyes on the first day of use

Its ready when you need it. Very attractive, got it for a quickie in the SUV. My only question, how do people have so much free time for those book size reviews???

This has been a reliable vac for cleaning up dog hair and quick spills, jobs up to a couple minutes. People who are disappointed that it will not clean out their entire SUV for 20 minutes like a shop vac have very unrealistic expectations, look at the marketing photos. The downside is that it holds very little dirt in the canister, has to be emptied very often. Also you need to hold the canister when you press the release button otherwise it will fling dirt everywhere. The release button should be further from the on/off button to avoid confusion. If you find the vacuum losing power or even shutting off by itself then you need to empty the little cone filter behind the main canister, this also gets clogged up really quickly.

In a home with several vacuums already (including a Shark upright and a central vac), it seemed silly to pay $100+ for yet another one. After five months of use, though, I can say it was well worth the cost for this duplicate item. The WandVac is small and attractively designed, so it looks nice tucked in a kitchen corner. Its narrow nozzle makes it perfect for cleaning up quick spills like ground coffee, onion skins, or a stray dust bunny. Ive used it to clean out the inside of the refrigerator, lint from the laundry dryer screen (and in between the washer and dryer), crushed Cheez-Its in and around my childs car seat, cat fur on kitchen furniture (the upholstery attachment works well), and table crumbs. Each of these tasks would be annoyingly time-consuming if they required pulling out a full-size vacuum, but theyre taken care of in under 60 seconds with the WandVac. My only complaint is that the vacuum works so well, the filter becomes filled with dust very quickly. Having several rinsable/reusable filters included with the WandVac would have made it a perfect purchase.
