> 3 dayheavier than most vacuums used in the past. had to clean the roller as pet and human hair caused it to stop suctioning instructions on how to put attachments on vacuum were not clear. did not keep hair from collecting on roller. pretty heavy vacuum It does clean pretty good though, if you keep the roller from getting to much wrapped around it

> 3 dayWas able to grab a gently used version and I can’t believe what this picked up after I had done a thorough vacuum on my rugs and hard floor. I can’t believe I waited so long to invest in a good vacuum. Highly recommend

> 3 dayI purchased this unit over the Dysan. Originally I thought their suction couldnt be beaten but then I read the reviews about Dysan, did my research, and learned how their quality had lessened and people didnt feel it was worth the money. The Shark Rotator was very highly rated and many users were very satisfied with the quality, performance, and suction. I have been using now for almost 4 months and I am glad I purchased it. It took me a little getting used to understanding the different attachments and how the parts assembled/disassembled to allow portability and the cleaning of different surfaces. It is great on carpets, and allows you to turn off the beaters to vacuum tile floors. It is also compact and fits easily into my coat closet. I do like the color and design. The ergonomic handle is a great plus. Overall, it is very sleek. Some of the features I am not as satisfied with are the length of the cord which seems a bit short, the length of the hose to use the different attachments can be a bit limited even with the canister removed and lifted near your work, also the weight is a bit heavy. I think they did a great job trying to keep everything compact and I understand that the shortcomings were probably an outcome of keeping it lighter, smaller, etc. I do have to point out that that I repetitively bang the attachment holder into my shin. That is placed badly for me. So I have to make a mental note not to be too quick to forget. Many bruises. I think you will be pleased with this item and very satisfied. Its a quality made item and performs just great. I hope this is helpful. John

> 3 dayThis is an excellent vacuum for hard surfaces flooring and carpet. It cleans up nicely, the filters are easy to clean, and I love how its multi-functional. Its a little heavy to move around on the carpet but it does an amazing job.

> 3 dayDo you have a pet that sheds so much on a weekly basis you could make whole liters of new pets from their hair? GET THIS VACUUM. I love my dog but the shedding is excessive, on every surface. If you want to seamlessly vacuum wood floors and go right onto carpet with the push of a button - THIS vacuum does that. If you want a vacuum that gets into spaces you normally can’t - THIS ONE. If you want to stop spending HOURS every week sweeping your floor, this one will save you time and back pain! The one downside is it is a little on the heavier side but I think the weight helps it pick up as much as it does. I don’t mind getting a little workout in while the floor is being cleaned!

> 3 dayThis vacuum picks up hair/dirt pretty well, but it doesnt have as many options for rug height like my first Shark did. For me the cord is on the wrong side. I push the vacuum with my right hand and hold the cord in my left so it isnt constantly in the way, but the cord on this vacuum is on the right side of the vacuum, so its awkward. It also has an incredibly short cord compared to my first Shark. With my other Shark I could vacuum the whole house (small 1-floor ranch), but with this one I have to stop and move to a different outlet to finish. Not a big deal, but annoying nonetheless. I find removing the wand for hard to reach places awkward as well. Overall I guess its an okay vacuum and Ill get used to the little annoyances.

> 3 dayPurchased this to replace our 8 year old Shark Navigator lift away. This thing died from the board overheating in 5 months. Tried calling Shark, the automated system didnt even offer an option for vacuums. Took it to the local repair and was boxes of Shark vacuums that had done the same thing. They also told us that Shark doesnt stand behind their product & it takes forever to get parts. Our old Shark was bullet proof. This one is not. Shark customer service doesnt exist. We use our vacuum 2-3 times weekly on a 2700 sq ft house. A $300 vacuum cleaner should last longer than 5 months. Dont buy.
