I needed a way to turn off my bedroom lamps, which I can’t reach well from bed. I’m of an older generation less well-versed in modern options, so I googled lamps that turn on and off with clapping. (Shoutout to fellow children of the ‘80s.) This smart plug came up in searches and I thought, well, duh. I bought two and they work great. I had no trouble setting them up with the app on my iPhone 13. They’re easy to use and the app is seamless. I’ll consider this brand again when I need more smart devices.

I got these for automating some sump pumps and also Christmas lights. Setup was a breeze with the Smart Life app to connect to wifi, set schedules and an ifttt program. Only complaint is that the WiFi plug is so big itll block the other outlet on the wall unless its not a grounded cord youre trying to plug in.

So much better than the old style timers where you had to pull out pins to set it. Needs a WIFI connection. Difficult to program/get connected to.

I’m so excited receiving this. I bought another smart plug from this seller and it was great. However, two of the plugs won’t work. I mean they won’t connect to wifi no matter what I do. The other two are working perfect fine so I’m guessing maybe these two are defects. I could’ve give five stars if the two plugs are working.

I have now used 3 of these. I bought one a few months ago and it worked well! I had a lava lamp plugged into it and it worked well with the app for a few months. I decided I would buy a second one for my salt lamp, thats where the issues started. On the other side of the room I plugged in this other socket to a surge protector, it worked for maybe a few days, then suddenly stopped. I couldnt reconnect it, I was in the return window still so I decided to try for a replacement. The replacement didnt connect either, and I accidentally lightly nudged my lava lamp plug and it decided to stop connecting and couldnt reconnect either. Im not sure whats up with these, I wish I could go back in time and not buy a second one I guess.

These are not as easy to setup as the “enbrighten” brand but once you are able to connect one it makes the process of connecting the next ones way easier. Love being able to set the timer for multiple times a day and it works great!!

I bought my first Echo (the original) in February 2016 and (anticipating smart home use) ordered a couple of then available WiFi plugs at the same time. Those were from an American company and are still in service. The problem was that they were too large and they did not have high wattage capacity. I recently bought an air fryer but, while it was not cheap, it had no on/off switch and each time I used it I was obliged to unplug it...very uncool design. So I bought one of these switches to use as an on/off switch for that appliance. The challenge was finding a WiFi switch that would handle the current. The fryer is rated at 1700 watts..yeah, I know thats not current...and these switches are rated at 1875. So I took the plunge. I bought a pair and I use the other one with a radiator-type space heater in my den (1500 watts). They are both working very well with these switches. But thats not all, the switches were the easiest to set up of the (now 15) switches I have in the house AND they automatically connect to Echo/Alexa. They can be switched on/off physically by pushing a button, or with the phone app, or by commands to Alexa...Perfect !! So of all the switches Ive bought in the past four years, these are (surprisingly) the best...also much cheaper than their domestic counterparts. If my opinion of them should change, I will make an addendum to this review, but at this point I am totally satisfied...great value, ease of use, AND high wattage capacity. 7/8/21 Addendum: Just bought #3. All of the above still applies. Im using it on a large fan which has high start-up current but moderate running current. The plug is working just fine with it...both from iPhone & from Alexa. Still the best value in a plug that does not require a separate HUB to function.

So unfortunately for me, I have a spectrum modem one of the newly updated ones. This does not show 2.4 ghz when you go to set up the plug. I installed the Tuya Smart app on the google play store. Once you have signed up for an account and confirmed it, click on the orange plus sign on the top right, then press add device, also make sure your Bluetooth is turned on for this (it will prompt you to do so if you forget). You now will want to manually press either plug (Ble + Wi-Fi) or Socket Wi Fi. It will prompt you for the 2.4 ghz (if you dont have one, dont worry) just put in your internet password as usual. It will tell you the device is connected to 5ghz wifi, select carry on rather than switch wifi. Follow the prompts and this should do it! It worked for me with all 3 different devices I bought on 5ghz.

This product works on 2G wifi network and works well. I use the HGN app on my fire tablet to control. The size of the plug is big so if you have two sockets on the wall, you would be able to use only one due to the size.
