We needed these for years, didn’t even know they existed until after we had bought a wireless cooking thermometer. We have had so many items get thawed out because someone didn’t completely shut the door on the freezer in the basement and even though it has an alarm it is so soft we can’t hear it. The only one who seems to be able to hear it is my daughter. It can be going off and she’ll hear it but I can’t. This system actually hooks up to your Wi-Fi and will alert you via text if your temperature falls outside of the ranges you program for it. At first we were getting alerts a lot but since then were able to adjust the range to where we haven’t had an alert since we first got it. You are also able to monitor the temperature using the app. Very happy with purchase.

After losing an entire freezer of meat, I wish I bought it before. I can see Temps any time and get an alert if it gets warm.

One is monitoring vegetable storage in the garage, one is in the chicken coop, both places where we need temperature and humidity monitored. We have the app on two phones, base station is in the middle of the house. Great buy.

Excellent range and performance. I had spent over $150 for another sensor and even bought a range extender to try to get temp from a freezer downstairs but it still couldnt pick up signal. Returned those items and ordered Smart Wireless Themometer and water sensor for much less money and was surprised to see that all those great reviews were correct. It has great range and works flawlessly. I even bout a second system for my second home. It even picked up the signal when I tried the sensor in my next door neighbors freezer. Both systems, plus 3 extra water sensor, were still cheaper than the orignal system and extender I had returned

We purchased this to alert us to power loss or freezer failure. Our two sensors are located one in each of our freezers. The hub hooked up via ethernet. Easy to scan hub and both sensors into the app on phones and set up alerts. The few questions I had were answered quickly by customer support via email so we have been happy with this purchase and it is doing what we need it to. We had a power outage and received notification on our app and via SMS so we could monitor and respond.

I bought this because we have a stand alone freezer in our basement. We had an instance where the door was somehow not closed all the way and we lost a lot of food. I had been searching for a device to alarm us if the temperature dropped in the future. Im an old guy and did have a couple of snags in initial setup, totally my inability toread directions. I attribute that to being a man! Thankfully the support I received from YoLink was the best support I have ever received for anything I have ever bought. Thanks to the guys at YoLink, I have an up and running unit connected to Alexa as well! Thank you!

This alert literally saved a huge supply of frozen breastmilk within the first few days of using the alert. Coincidental timing but I am beyond thankful!

This could not have been any easier to set up. Took ten minutes from opening box to sensor in freezer sending readings. Signal from freezer sensor in garage to hub in living room is full strength. Highly recommend

I dont write a lot of reviews, but this one deserves my time to do so. We have a freezer in our garage, and for whatever reason, the door has been left slightly ajar a few times. And there we are with probably $75 of food that probably should be thrown out. So I went looking for a solution to let me know when thats happened. The YoLink is working great, and has already notified me twice that the freezer door was ajar (temperature rising). Our network router sits in a closet in the middle of the house, and the YoLink hub is plugged directly into that with the supplied ethernet cable. Then the YoLink sensor is in the freezer. It has no problem connecting with the hub through 4 walls and the freezer door. My only outstanding question is whether the sensor batteries will last very long. But still this product is well worth the money spent.
