> 3 dayI dont write a lot of reviews, but this one deserves my time to do so. We have a freezer in our garage, and for whatever reason, the door has been left slightly ajar a few times. And there we are with probably $75 of food that probably should be thrown out. So I went looking for a solution to let me know when thats happened. The YoLink is working great, and has already notified me twice that the freezer door was ajar (temperature rising). Our network router sits in a closet in the middle of the house, and the YoLink hub is plugged directly into that with the supplied ethernet cable. Then the YoLink sensor is in the freezer. It has no problem connecting with the hub through 4 walls and the freezer door. My only outstanding question is whether the sensor batteries will last very long. But still this product is well worth the money spent.

Greater than one weekIf this is the kind of device you are looking for to be able to remotely view temps and humidity this is the best one I have used so far. Even better than so called name brands. I dont get all kinds of false alarms. The interface is easy to use but not stripped down to bare minimums. Most importantly, it just works, worked easily practically out of the box. No drama, no fees. Its great.

Greater than one weekI have 4 of these devices in my house. I’ve had a few issues setting these up. Customer Service has been exceptional in guiding me through the process of completing the setup. I highly recommend this product and company.

27-03-2025Using these in my Samsung refrigerator/freezer, and what a wealth of information. now I can see when it goes into defrost mode, how often it does, and even how much of a temperature drop occurs in order to make ice. excellent devices for monitoring fridge and freezers. Will be ordering more devices for other needs. New fan here.

> 3 dayI bought this after my last freezer up and died an snow I am paranoid about my brand new freezer doing the same. The sensors are tiny and accurate and the set up was extremely easy. However, the notifications dont seem to be 100% reliable and this is the only reason I am taking a point off. It does not always tell me when my gateway is offline and without that, the temperatures are not being recorded/alerted if out if range. I occassionally get an email that my gateway is connected again but did not know it was offline in the first place. That is the omw concerning thing for me. That said, when my freezers go out if range i do get the notifications and can monitor them accordingly. All in all, a great budget solution that doesnt require further subscription fees (unless you want to upgrade)

> 3 dayPretty much a a snap to set up (unusually so). Also connected to Alexia no problem. Only complaint... I really like freezing tha batteries & electronics... I do wish they would put a probe on these so we could leave the transmitter/eletronics out of the freezer.

> 3 dayI bought these for my 2 freezers. We lost some meat in our freezer because I didn’t know it wasn’t cold enough and the meat thawed out. It brings some peace of mind knowing I’ll get a notification when the temperature gets above the threshold I set. It is also interesting because it shows how the temperature naturally fluctuates and I can even see when it defrosts.

> 3 dayhumidity readings are off, i can put the same unit side by side and 1 is 83.5 humidity the other 79.3. always 3-4 degrees off each other, temp off but by 0-1.5 degrees... i think humidity reading are higher than normal, since my other units read humidity 5-8 degrees lower constantly BUT i dont know which is the accurate reading! I dont get the email alerts when reading are above threshold which is cool, but still returning,
