> 3 dayMy dad uses these for art drawing when I was little. 40 years later when I got into drawing I bought myself the same brand and they are good pencils. I’m happy with them.

> 3 dayIm new to drawing, but on my many trips to hobby lobby I have acquired quite a few pencils. I like this brand of pencils the best so far. And when I saw that they made a set going from 10H-12B I knew I had to have it. Definitely recommend!

> 3 dayIf you are sending them as a gift be sure to check on them first. The first case I got did not have 2B (duplicate HB) and the second case I got had a hollow pencil without the center. Two cases with issue in a row indicates terrible quality control! The pencils are very decent quality. Smooth and easy to shade with. You can tell the transition when using the different hardness levels. The lines are consistent. I like the boxes for having fixed grids for each pencil so that they don’t move around much. I feel comfortable having hand sharpened pencils in the box and carry it around.

> 3 dayThese are the only pencils I use for my artworks. They blend well, they’re sturdy and they last FOREVER.

> 3 dayI review pencils on YouTube (rixcandoit), and find the Staedtler Lumograph drawing pencils to be at the top in quality and tonal application. In fact, of all the drawing pencil packs (tins) that I have, the Staedtler Lumograph tops them all in the upper soft range (5B and higher). I believe they must add some carbon to the graphite mix for their really soft pencils to make them so dark with less reflective shine that most other pencils sets have at their softest range. Only the General Pencil Co. 9xxb pencil rivals the 9B Lumograph, but the 9xxb is not part of a standard pencil tin kit.
