Package delivered today. Box the card are in looks like someone treated it like luggage in an overhead compartment on a full flight. Cards are still useable but Amazon has to do better at protecting these things.

I love these cards. They are the perfect canvas for using my Copic markers and micron pens to draw my greeting card designs on. No smearing and shows off pen and marker colors beautifully

I needed to print some of my photos onto stationery cards. The older stationery that I printed on in past years has yellowed over time, and I was cautious about ordering cheap blank cards / envelopes out of fear they wouldnt be durable, would yellow gradually, or wouldnt take the ink properly. After much searching I discovered the Strathmore cards on Amazon and ordered them because they were acid-free and the reviews were outstanding. When the blank cards arrived I was a bit concerned about being able to print on them because of the rough, ripped edge on the front cover, and also by the rough-ish fabric-like texture of the card stock, but my fears were unfounded - I was very pleased with the results, notably by the brilliance of the colors that came out on the cards from my inexpensive ink jet printer. I like the brightness / purity of the white of the cards and envelopes, and I think the quality of the product relative to the price makes this an easy choice. If/when I need to print out more stationery cards Ill definitely be buying this product again.

The cards are great but the envelopes are kind of crappy. They need an upgrade.

My students have really enjoyed making several hand made cards. The watercolor paper works well and the enclosed enveloped are a nice quality.

Great purchase and the value is huge! (Price per card) They’re exactly what you expect (sturdy and can handle watercolors marvelously). These don’t pill up while painting which is a huge improvement over other brands I’ve tried. 100% recommendations across the board!

Im so disappointed with Strathmore. Ive bought their cards in the past and pulled out some old work to compare when i noticed how awful this product was. The old product was classic 140 pound cold press texture. This one... well-- just wait until you actually put paint on the paper. It dries into a weird texture that looks like corduroy material (see image. Zoom in). Every single card in my 100 count box has this awful kind of tilted cord texture. It doesnt absorb water, the water just floats until its murky. The pigments wont blend. It reminds me of years ago when I had a case of half sheets that were run over by a truck. Literally tire tread marks appeared in the paint. Thats exactly what this looks like but with tiny little treads everywhere. STRATHMORE: if this box is a one off, replace it and Ill change my review. Otherwise, if this is the new quality of the product DO NOT BUY unless you are doing something really sparse.
