> 3 daypaint dries within a hour with this palette. Maybe I have a defective one but it will not keep any paint moist for more then a hour with the top closed and the band on. I’m not impressed Gave 2 stars because the paper that comes with it works great(using in different palette)

> 3 dayI love these. Ive had mine for three years now. I use it constantly and with the ability to reorder paper and sponges, its a great tool for any painter. the price here was cheaper then ordering it from army painter direct or going to a hobby/game store.

> 3 dayIve generally enjoyed using this wet palette, but...well, frankly, the hydro foam is much worse than standard paper towels and the hydro sheets are much worse than standard parchment paper. The case is super nifty though. See, the problem with the hydro garbage this is designed to use: given a day or two, Army Painter paints bleed back through the hydro-sheets into the hydro-foam. Youd think theyd have tested this with their own paints at least! But it doesnt seem so. To make things even more odd, the pattern (pictured) doesnt even correspond with the paints I was using! The purple on the right-hand side? I wasnt painting with purple. The only yellow I was painting with was on the lower left, but it seems to have migrated everywhere. Same with the orange. Even worse, it seems like it has also become a bit of a petri dish for something or another--this hardly seems antimicrobial! I have to wonder if the colors here are even from the paints or if some weird bacteria or mold is actually producing pigment inside of the foam. (But perhaps its just different pigments in the same paint migrating at different rates, like in chromatography.) And, worse, I havent a clue how to clean out this stinking foam! All-in-all, this is a great little wet palette case, but the foam and sheets are really not up to the task. Im going to have to see if I cant make this baby work with something else, because I really like the case at least and would rather not go back to using my old tupperware wet palette.

> 3 dayThis wet palette kept my paints wet for 5-6 hours while out, and kept them reusable when placed in my fridge for up to two days. No mold either! Be careful not to leave the palette out and open for several hours however, as the water in the palette will dry up causing your paints to dry as well.

17-12-2024Id have given it 5 stars if I had experience with other similar products, but as this is the first wet palette Ive owned I dont feel I have enough experience to give it a perfect score. This has worked wonderfully for me, no longer do I have to worry about thinning paints, this palette does it for me. Not only that but as it keeps the paint wet I can get at least 5x as much use out of a drop of paint as I could have with the dry palette I used previously. I can imagine this being useful for almost any small painting project, I say small because I could foresee the size of the palette becoming an issue for someone working on large projects. I cannot stress enough how useful this has been for me.

> 3 dayThis product is by no means a revolutionary item that breaks the boundaries. However, it does exactly what its supposed to do and it seems to be solidly constructed. If youre tired of building your own wet pallets I would recommend.

> 3 dayI recently moved over to The Army Painter line fully and am happy I did as everything is so well done. The how to books they give you with all purchases are fantastic and really help out, especially for a noob like me. I love the design of this pallet, having the bottom layer for the hydro sheets with your paints, the middle layer that can hold your brushes and is itself a small paint pallet, then the top layer that closes down to keep it airtight. Plus its on the smaller side which I prefer. Overall great design and it works perfectly for what I need.
