Saw several You Tube reviews of wet palattes and decided to make the plunge. Price here was better than my local game store. Very happy with purchase. Ive been using this for about 3 or 4 months now. Still on the first sponge. I take it out, wring out the water, and wash it with Dawn dish soap and rinse well every so often. Paint will seep through the papers if you leave them on there a long time, so dont assume discoloration is mold. It probably isnt. Added a bit of copper wire to prevent that problem, no issues so far. Papers last 3-4 days or more depending on what color paint Im using (some colors seperate more than others). Havent tried making my own papers yet, havent even gone through half what comes with the palette yet but have heard the Army Painter papers are superior than parchment paper cut to size. I kept the plastic box it comes in to store the papers and spare sponge, glad I did! Very happy with this purchase. Superior to the sandwich tupperware box I was using hands down.

This wet palette is solid, and it comes with good paper and excellent sponges. It is perfect for traveling with brushes and paint.

Okay wet palette, if $ is a concern - buy the masteron palette. If you do buy the army painter wet palette, the paper is rubbish. It will leave fibers when you try and thin your paints. use parchment paper for best result for thinning your paints. This also applies to the masteron wet palette too.

I love this wet palette, I’m finally able to make my transitions smooth and texture smooth. No more chunky chalky paint jobs! It keeps your paints wet for weeks, though I tend to go through a sheet per session. Service is great too, the product arrived broken and I reached out to Army a painter and they immediately sent a replacement.

So I’m a newbies painter and this palette has save me lots of paints already. It has a foam sheet that fits perfectly and hold the water great, the sheets that go over that are also really good and none of the paint seeps through the sheets. I’ve left paint in it over night and picked it up the next day with no issues. The palette also has an area for brushes which is super convenient and helpful. It does come with one brush and the brush itself is pretty good and I use it fairly often. Like I said a great palette for any beginner.

It keep the paint wet to access to your colors and mix for a long time. Its easy to clean and also to transport or store. Would buy again, but maybe a bigger next time.
