Id have given it 5 stars if I had experience with other similar products, but as this is the first wet palette Ive owned I dont feel I have enough experience to give it a perfect score. This has worked wonderfully for me, no longer do I have to worry about thinning paints, this palette does it for me. Not only that but as it keeps the paint wet I can get at least 5x as much use out of a drop of paint as I could have with the dry palette I used previously. I can imagine this being useful for almost any small painting project, I say small because I could foresee the size of the palette becoming an issue for someone working on large projects. I cannot stress enough how useful this has been for me.

paint dries within a hour with this palette. Maybe I have a defective one but it will not keep any paint moist for more then a hour with the top closed and the band on. I’m not impressed Gave 2 stars because the paper that comes with it works great(using in different palette)

I have had the Army wet palette for a few months now and find it to be perfect for blending colors and it does keep the acrylic model paints reusable for 4 or 5 days. It is everything it says it is and worth the $24.55 I bought it for (with free postage). I only rated the palette with four stars as Amazon shipped the item in a puffy pack and the box was badly crushed when I received it. I like the Army wet palette enough that I bought a second one as a Christmas gift, but this time I bought it else where to insure it wasnt damaged.

I recently moved over to The Army Painter line fully and am happy I did as everything is so well done. The how to books they give you with all purchases are fantastic and really help out, especially for a noob like me. I love the design of this pallet, having the bottom layer for the hydro sheets with your paints, the middle layer that can hold your brushes and is itself a small paint pallet, then the top layer that closes down to keep it airtight. Plus its on the smaller side which I prefer. Overall great design and it works perfectly for what I need.

You would think they would build a product that can hold their brushes within the clasps and any other non-brand brushes would just go in the blank area without the clasps. NOPE! As for the foam and sheets, they seem to work ok, but this palette needs improvement for usability of storing your paint brushes.

It kinda small and doesnt seem to keep my paints wet for that long. The paintbrush holder is a bit too short for standard brushes, and they dont hold onto the brushes at all.

This product has really helped me with improving my painting. Not only do I paint more often. I paint longer. I would recommend this to new and experienced painters

I like the concept of saving your unused paint for a later date, if you havent used all of it during a painting session. Compact design for portability is a nice benefit. Wetted pad aids in blending water-based paint and facilitates creating glazes when more transparent coats/layers of paint are required.
