Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit 15-Color Party Kit, Standard, Rainbow

Got this to do with my nieces and nephews for the Fourth of July. The kids had so much fun making tie dye. Unfortunately, even following the instructions and waiting 8 hours before washing the shirts they blue dyes all faded really bad so that when the shirts came out of the wash the light blues were practically still white.

Gorgeous bright colors! Whole family had a great time working together.

Ive had bad experiences with some tie-dye kits, and was worried when I bought this but after using it it will be the goto tie-dye kit for me.

Our family used this kit to make some shirts. We made 4 shirts and still have many colors to use for future projects. I was amazed at how well the tie dye turned out! Just like the pictures included with the instructions. We washed the shirts according to the instructions, and the colors have remained vibrant and permanent over several washings. It’s a messy project, so I would recommend working on it outside. But it was super fun, we have great shirts, and we can’t wait to do more. Highly recommend!

I love that this kit came with so many colors! I poured out about 1/2 the mix before adding water for softer colors. I did 5 shirts and still have tons more for other projects.

I purchased this product on sale for about $11. A lot of color options! Can’t comment too much on longevity. Unfortunately, the red bottle was punctured and made a mess when I was filling it with water. This was disappointing as red was one of the important colors we were looking forward to using and the bottles are small to begin with. The kids had fun though!

The dyes seem vibrant when youre dying. Some Colorado stayed vibrant. Others look terrible after 1 wash. Wet article of clothing prior. Let the dye sit over night. Rinsed before washing. Washed article of clothing by itself. My one and only suggestion is to not use the black. It seems to be the worst of the fading colors. Will try a different brand dye next time.

I liked all the color options. I didnt like the mess.
