> 3 dayThis was a fun kit and my family of 6 was able to each make a shirt of their own. The only complaint is that some of the powder dye escaped the bottles during shipping, so it was messy when we opened the box. Also they give you 1 small square of plastic thats supposed to be a table cover but is only big enough for 1 project at a time. My family split all the colors up (youll need at least 1-2 whole bottles of color for 1 adult shirt) and we bought a large cheap plastic table cloth to protect the whole area so we could all make our shirts at the same time while the dye was fresh.

Greater than one weekI did not return the item after finding it damaged because I was on a very tight time constraint to get the shirts done. However I was disappointed how the product came. The box was very dented up upon opening the amazon shipping box. The orange dye top had come off and the dye powder had leaked all over the other bottles. I was unable to use a whole set of the rubber bands because they were getting orange dye on everything. The shirts were soaking in a solution in the sink and the powder from the open orange container came off of my hands and fell onto the shirts. No matter what I did, the powder dye was everywhere. I had to dye the shirts darker than planned to cover up all the orange mess. They ended up turning out great, but it was such a hassle because of the bottle being opened. Open the product away from your shirts, just in case!

Greater than one weekWe purchased this refill kit in addition to the kit that comes in the plastic box. We weren’t sure how much dye we would need to make 10 preschool sized tshirts and 9 adult sized tshirts. We needed both sets and had some dye left over. The colors are vibrant and I would definitely buy this again. (I wish they just sold little envelopes of the dye so you could reuse your bottles instead of gaming to purchase more bottles).

> 3 dayTye dye is so fun and addicting. This kit provides plenty of colors and allows for multiple uses. Great as a gift. I would definitely buy again.

Greater than one weekThis is a great little tie dye kit to get a large amount of fabric dyed. The bottles are a nice size and easy to prepare. It comes with rubber bands but I would but extra if youre using for a party. I also would buy different gloves to use, but the ones in the kit will suffice if need be. I would personally buy the 1oz squeeze bottles to fill and 4 or 5 to give to each child to use if I were using for a party or group, I would find it difficult for everyone to use if only sharing the main bottles and they can be harder to control the amount- easily using up most of one color if you have one that isnt mindful of what they are doing. Other than that, great value for the money

> 3 dayEverything was mostly good. I have used this brand in the past with other tie dye projects, first time ordering it through Amazon though. I opened my package and saw the orange bottle was opened a bit and some of the powder had spilled. Just thought Id mention it.

> 3 dayThis was surprisingly easy to use. I bought this kit as a rainy day project for my 4 kiddos (ages 9, 4, 4, 1) they were all involved and had a lot of fun. We completed 15 projects between all the kids and had enough dye left over for a few more. Youth 16- 2 shorts, 2 tshirts, 1 pants. 5T- 2 hoodies, 4 shirts, 2T- 1 dress, 3 shirts. Colors are bright and holding well after washing. While we are all far from experts, everyone is happy and excited with how their new clothes turned out. They’re already asking for another kit and want to wear their creations tomorrow. (For better results than ours I would suggest watching a YouTube DIY video on how to fold and twist your material to make clearer designs.)
