> 24 hourMy WD SN850 was OK, for three months, then it failed. When I tried to file a warranty claim, the page crashed when I tried to enter the SN. Turns out my SSDs serial number was not in the WD database (seriously?).. I had to upload a copy my proof of purchase - my receipt, and a picture of the dead SSD showing the serial number. Along with a description of the failure (it causes Windows 11 to crash when I try to write large amounts of data). So now that WD tech support has everything they need to process my warranty, did they do that? No they respond We have entered your serial number into the database they said to please file a warranty claim and provide proof of purchase, only the link they referenced doesnt work and still doesnt work (see picture). The warranty process seems to be designed to make you give up out of frustration. I feel like I have been ripped off for $100 and will never buy a WD product again..
