Im using this SSD in my PS5. Performance is fantastic but its a little pricey. Im thinking about picking up another one to add to my laptop to expand my storage. Recommended.

Buen NVMe, confiable y veloz

I bought this M2 SSD (1TB SN850x) for my new PC build (specs below) and for my PS5. It is blazing fast. It reaches its advertised speeds. For my PC, it is used as my primary OS drive. This is a huge upgrade from my old M2 SSD on my previous PC (960 Samsung). All my files pop up instantly and programs run extremely smooth. On the PS5, games load and run like they are stored on the PS5 factory storage. Buy it now!! You will not regret it.

Just got the 1TB and installed it yesterday. Was a lot harder than I expected. The side of my PS5 took a lot of effort to pop off and then I needed a certain screwdriver to unscrew the peg that holds the ssd card in place. Almost gave up several times. I had to go to the hardware store to buy a special pack of incredibly small screwdrivers. I ended up using a flat head and then needle nose pliers after nearly ruining the screw head. Once you have the spacer in place and are putting the ssd card in you do have to use a little bit of force to pop it into place and it should angle up once it’s popped in. Then you screw it in place. Just be aware the whole process might be simple but does take some umph to do. After all’s said and done it does work fine and downloaded about three games to the card and they played fine. So happy to have more storage.

This SSD is easy to install on the PS5 just simply unscrew it and put it in and boom. Its finally on the PS5 and then you close it back it up and then now you have a faster PS5. The SSD will load games way faster and will feel so immersive because of the quickess of the loading speeds. Loading screen will be almost non existent

Installed in Alienware Aurora R11 desktop. The SSD M2 1 TB hard drive with heatsink installed into my Gen 3 old slot (no heat sink) with no issues other than the screw. Disk write/read speed before and after showed no change and was limited to ~ 3500. Regardless, I needed more storage capacity. The main problem I encountered was the very tiny screw which secures the M2 SSD. Just about impossible to screw back in - I actually have lost mine somewhere in the motherboard area. The SSD is still working at about a 45 degree angle though. If anyone has a spare M2 SSD screw please send it my way!

This drive just slipped right in there ! Works amazing as well, RGB light is barely noticeable even when u change the color but hey that really doesnt matter much
