After several disastrous experiences twenty year ago, I only use western digital drives. When the world moved to ssd I stuck with WD. So I was quite excited when they launched their versions of nvme form factor. Now this new ‘black’ series comes around.

Easy install less then 5 minutes for the ps5.

Works perfect in our PS5 consoles. The 512GB is more than enough extra space for your average gamer. We use a couple basic external USB3 1TB HDD WD or Seagate for our PS4 game storage. Total now is 2TB. Game ON!

So far was great up until about a day ago started to have fail to read or it would just disappear from being shown got this for my ps5 everything worked flawlessly until started to have issues with it now it’s just fancy looking stick may not buy again but still need one to expand my storage just sad

Easy to install, good speeds, no problems.

My system uses MSI X670E Carbon WIFI motherboard + 7950X3D cpu. The SN850X 4TB was supposed to be my secondary/backup storage. However this disk leads to system instability and sometimes my system doesnt want to boot simply because the disk is not visible in the BIOS and in the OS, respectively.

Love it and the speed Im using it for the PS5 and works like a charm.

Bought it for my PS5, I couldn’t install it since I wasn’t in the beta program. So I have this item sitting for awhile. Gotta give credit to the seller, very fast shipping and it’s brand new. The price was about right! I’m happy with my purchase!

I am a little concerned. Ive heard a lot of people say this one has gone out on them down the line. Hoping that doesnt happen. So far it works fine. Fast speeds, nice space.
