Western Digital made a silent change to this SSD that cuts the performance down significantly. I noticed that this was not performing and benchmarking as expected and after that I did some google search and found this out. I suggest, if you are considering this SSD for CAD, Video, Large file processing, or Gaming that you do a little research first. I bought a SAMSUNG SSD to use as my primary drive and moved this to a backup position where performance is not as critical.

Super fast SSD and for the price it cant be beaten.

Upgraded ssd with adapter in my late 2014 Mac mini ....works perfectly fine.

Works flawlessly on my MacBook pro retina 13 early 2015 128gb model and has better speeds than the proprietary apple and owc ones which cost twice.

Good upgrade from an an average SSD, excellent general read write performance, but cant quite compete with the professional SSDs for 4K workloads.

Good SSD for a great price. While there are much faster NVME drives out there, you cant go wrong with this price point, size, and speed.

Ho restituito questo prodotto. Non è che sia grande esperta, ma sostituendo lssd Samsung nel mkio fisso con questo M2 le prestazioni non erano migliorate un gran che. Allora ho provato a testare la sua effettiva velocità con HD Tune: a differenza del mio ssd il grafico mi dava dei sospetti per quanto fosse altalenante. Quindi ho postato i grafici ed ho avuto conferma da esperti del settore lM2 non si comportava a dovere. non so se è difettoso il mio o se una caratteristica di tutti i wd di quel tipo, io lho restituito.
