Great SSD, but make sure to update your bios before installing. My PC (x470 aorus gaming 7) would not even boot to bios with this ssd installed until I updated it to f50.

Not suitable for Asus rog g strix g531gd. After installation bios stuck at logo none of single key working.

Plug it into my 15-cx0056wm HP Pavilion Gaming laptop from end of 2018. Boots up really fast now and the old 2.5 SATA 1TB mechanical drive can be used together as additional storage. To make it work, I disconnected the SATA cable. Boot and install Windows 10 Media Creation USB. Install win10 with everything at default and done in 15 minutes, laptop is running faster than before. Reconnect the SATA cable to continue to use the old SATA hdisk as additional storage. what a big difference, all apps start faster on win10. Looking forward to see this SSD NVME to last at least 5 years before the next laptop upgrade.

100% compatible with my 2015 Macbook Pro 13 and 2017 Macbook Air 13. Need to use an adapter like this one:

A drive like this is really all you need for either gaming, productivity or just general use. It fast and responsive. There is not a need to buy faster drives unless you do video or graphics editing. Yes while other drives are technically faster for 99% of the world including gamers you will not see any difference between this and the black or an evo.

Its a great 500 GB SSD by WD.

I bought this drive to replace the one that came in my new laptop. It works well so far. The only issue was the WD cloning software hung appeared to stall and looked like it wasn’t complete during the process, but the drive worked fine when installed.
