Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache, 14 ml (0.47oz) tube, Permanent White

This is nice and smooth gouache and is a rich warm gold with good coverage. I use it for Medieval Illuminated Manuscripts and calligraphy. I bought a tube of Pebeo gold at the same time and I use it more often for burnishing, but the WN is a rich gold and I will use it up! I dont like that the red tint of the carrier separates from the pigment in the palette well and on the paper if there is a puddle of paint. Also, it wont burnish after drying. I do like the smooth rich gold tone!

Wish I had 10 tubes, use it every day, great paint.

The Hubster is perfectly happy with this Gouache. He did not like the brand I was using, but this one meets his artistic needs! He is working on graphic drawings and this product gives the white highlights he is looking for.
