This was exactly what i was looking for to dim a floor lamp. Integration was super easy with Google Home. Would totally recommend.

I may just return this one. Im unable to make it work properly! -It seems to be stuck with a maximum of 10%, it otherwise seems OK. -I contacted EVA LOGIK and got no answer so far. -Got their more complete instruction sheet from their website and It seems that some information got lost in the translation! -The additional instructions does show some configuration options but not how to get into configuration mode or how to select the option that needs to be changed. -It also seems like Im unable to do a factory reset that should bring all option to basic default. -Still waiting for EVA LOGICs customer/product support while keeping an eye on my Amazon product return deadline!

Dont pay attention to what the description says - I went through TWO of these and they do NOT install on Vivint systems. When I contacted tech support after the second one failed to connect, I was given no tech support at all, just a link on how to contact Amazon for a return. Im ordering another brand with user reviews verifying that Vivint is supported. This one is not.

Pros: ✔️ Short response time ✔️ Works great with SmartThings (detected as an EVA Outlet) ✔️ Having the outlets on the sides permits placement behind furniture ✔️ Pass-through (always-on) outlet allows an extra appliance to be plugged in ✔️ Configurable parameters include LED on/off, auto on/off timer, and relay memory* ✔️ Timer and relay memory can be configured right on the device via button press sequences† ✔️ Has a user-configurable association group (in addition to the lifeline group) (*) The device can be configured to turn on, turn off, or return to its last state after a power outage. (†) The timer and relay memory settings can be changed without involving the hub, which is great since many Z-Wave hubs either dont support or are moving away from allowing devices advanced parameters to be changed (looking at you, SmartThings ⚰). Cons: ❌ Bulky and with a loud relay ❌ No energy metering ❌ Comparatively pricey

the wattage capability is too low. the device wont even run a 500 watt heater.

No problem connecting to my smart things… I don’t have a neutral wire running in my house so I can’t use any of the dimming type switches... To control non-smart lightbulbs.

Update 4 months later. 5 stars to 1 star. Outlet no longer responds to smartthings. It will report its state(on or off) but it will not respond to on or off commands via smartthings or alexa. Attempted to remove device and re pair, but it does not show up. It is a paperweight now. Power load on device was 8 watts. Should not have died with such little amperage. This paired with smartthings very easily. I use it to automatically turn on the under cabinet lights when there is motion. I like that it leaves enough access to the other outlet on the wall. The second unswitched output is a big plus. Alexa found it no problem.
