> 3 dayI have used other name brands in the past but wanted to try something else. I like it better. The unit is smaller but still provides two outlets; One Z-Wave and one standard. You can turn the unit on/off manually via the button on the front which lights up in white when in use. The instructions provided were comprehensive. I was able to get it to pair with my SmartThings hub without issue the first time. Would absolutely buy again for an indoor lamp/plug module.

> 3 dayFinally, a SmartThings plug that does all the connecting for you AND works! You do not need to download any additional apps to make this work, unlike the Wemo plugs. 1.) Simply open your Smartthings or AEOtec app; 2.) hit the + (add device) button; 3.) then plug this into an outlet, and SmartThings sees it. Done...thank goodness.

> 3 dayEasy to set up and works perfectly with SmartThings and Alexa. So far no issues and responds the first time, every time. I will definitely purchase this brand again if I need another smart plug.

Greater than one weekI bought 2 of these and both have broken. after the first week both stopped working, after returning them and getting one back it has now stopped working after 1 month. I can not recommend these.

> 3 dayUpdate 4 months later. 5 stars to 1 star. Outlet no longer responds to smartthings. It will report its state(on or off) but it will not respond to on or off commands via smartthings or alexa. Attempted to remove device and re pair, but it does not show up. It is a paperweight now. Power load on device was 8 watts. Should not have died with such little amperage. This paired with smartthings very easily. I use it to automatically turn on the under cabinet lights when there is motion. I like that it leaves enough access to the other outlet on the wall. The second unswitched output is a big plus. Alexa found it no problem.

> 3 dayI purchased two of these in August 2021 to use with two different lamps, and as of January 2023, they are both failing. There’s something wrong with the dimming mechanism. Whenever I use Alexa to turn them off, they do turn off, but Alexa says something went wrong. Then when I turn them back on, I get the same error tone from Alexa, and the dimmers have been set to 1%. I purchased two of the same switches, but without dimmers, at the same time, and they are still working. I have a ton of smart switches that I’ve had for years longer than these two switches, and all of them are still working as well as the day I bought them. These switches are way too expensive to be failing after a year and a half.

> 3 dayI have this added to my Home Assistant setup. Was easy to add and home assistant recognized it. Thinking of getting a few more! This item seems to have the highest wattage allowed for the cheapest price compared to the other items I looked at.
