Worked with many Z-Wave products in IT, these are great little units for table lamps, reliably connecting, responsive, superior dimming capabilities. However, be cautious, I have ordered a few of these and some indeed were the right product, sealed and brand new. A few other clearly were re-packed and contained some cheap off brand product. Very disappointing, as Eva Logik makes some great products, just open yours and make sure you actually get what you ordered and it’s truly a new one.

I have had no problems with several of these units.

These are awful. They came up in smart things relatively easy but that is the only good thing I can say about them. They have a mind of their own and any change you try to make to them does not stick. The brightness adjustment is useless since it will just jump around randomly after you try to set it to something. They are hit or miss for simply turning them on and off as well. I would return them if I hadnt tossed the boxes.

Super easy setup. Fast response time with Smartthings. Small form factor that easily fits behind furniture. However, unlike the Minoston Z-Wave Plug Outlet with 2 channels, this only has 1 smart outlet and 1 always-on outlet. Its also a bit thicker, so harder to fit behind things. I also bought the device as new but it was (presumably) a refurb as it was already paired with another zwave hub and I had to do a factory reset.

I bought 2 of these and both have broken. after the first week both stopped working, after returning them and getting one back it has now stopped working after 1 month. I can not recommend these.

Hubitat finds the device when in pairing mode, but cannot get past the initiation phase. Claims to be Z-Wave Plus standard, but I doubt it.

This product does what it was designed to do.

Used these zwave outlets to control a simple lamp when entering and exiting my basement, and the relay started sticking about 4 months in. Had and RMA replacement issued, and now that one is doing the same. Requires to be completely unplugged to unstick the relay. Defective design. Best to buy another model.

Bought a few of these to add to my HomeAssistant Zwave mesh. Added to HomeAssistant with no issues. Have a light connected to the smart plug and a dehumidifier connected to the always on. Been rock solid thus far.

Pros: ✔️ Short response time ✔️ Works great with SmartThings (detected as an EVA Outlet) ✔️ Having the outlets on the sides permits placement behind furniture ✔️ Pass-through (always-on) outlet allows an extra appliance to be plugged in ✔️ Configurable parameters include LED on/off, auto on/off timer, and relay memory* ✔️ Timer and relay memory can be configured right on the device via button press sequences† ✔️ Has a user-configurable association group (in addition to the lifeline group) (*) The device can be configured to turn on, turn off, or return to its last state after a power outage. (†) The timer and relay memory settings can be changed without involving the hub, which is great since many Z-Wave hubs either dont support or are moving away from allowing devices advanced parameters to be changed (looking at you, SmartThings ⚰). Cons: ❌ Bulky and with a loud relay ❌ No energy metering ❌ Comparatively pricey
