Works exactly how I expected it to and does everything I need it to do. A very good laptop for the price given.

Sadly I cant give a clear review since it wouldnt even turn on when it arrived. Dont know who to blame but either way I guess this means a trip to best buy for another laptop.

Been using this for a minute now. All updates have been done without issues. Screen is clean and Keyes are perfect. Finger lock works every time. I don’t have any regrets with this purchase.

Computer worked great out of the box. Minor setup problem to printer. Issue sliced with a brief call to customer service.

I have been an Acer customer for about 10 years and never had an issue...until now. My daughter needed a new laptop before her Senior year, so I had no hesitation replacing her HP laptop with a new Acer Aspire 5 A515-46-R14K 15.6 laptop from Amazon. She set it up but did not begin using it until school started August 2021. It has had very light usage; shes not a gamer and only uses it for school assignments and projects. Needless to say I was shocked and extremely disappointed it died on her on November 14, 2021. The screen is completely blank, but the keyboard is backlit and the fan is running so loud it sounds like its going to take off an fly across the room, so I know it is getting power. I contacted technical support through Amazon, and they transferred me to Acer. The Acer technician had me hold the reset button on the bottom of the laptop for 30 seconds and power it back on...NOTHING except the same black screen, backlit keyboard, loud fan, and nothing else. Considering weve had it less than 6 months, I thought surely they would send a replacement. NOPE...I was given a support ticket number, an email with instructions for how to send it in for repair, and to add insult to injury, I have to pay the shipping costs!

very good laptop for the price. underrated. have used for a few months and no issues. take out of Home(s) mode when get it!! have no issues. quiet, responsive keyboard, good mouse pad control and added additional bluetooth mouse that works fine also. only con, keyboard lighting. it works but wish was setting to keep or have stay on for 5, 10, 30 minutes instead of the time out setting it has. seems short.

Spent one and a half hours setting up today and loading my content only to find battery not found. Contacted Acer as instructs in the Box for Amazon customers and was disconnected on three times without any call backs. Contacted Amazon and told that I needed to send back to UPS. I did a search and found that as long as two years ago, there was a known battery not found issue with this Acer product. No one at either Acer or Amazon acknowledged it or was even aware of it. Why are refurbished Acer computers being sent out without proper driver fixes to these computers?? Additionally why when being sent among Amazon departments are there no warm transfers and then requested to repeat my product concern repeatedly and then when lost connection with them, no one called back?!

Just what I needed for my basic computer use. Great value.

I love this laptop! I installed a 16gb 2666mhz ram stick in the free slot for a total of 20gb RAM, also cloned the 128gb boot drive to a 1tb sk hynix 2280 name drive and installed a 2.5 1tbssd in the free slot. This is MAXED out now and is wonderful.
