> 3 dayThis is super easy to pair. Have done so with switch lite, played ssb, streets of rage 4, blaze blue, no lag. Also paired with Samsung Galaxy S8 to play crazy taxi (free on sega), works great. The only regret I have is not buying two, but soon enough I shall. The material is matte finish so anti fingerprint collector, feels like a ps controller with the face buttons of snes. At least mine is. I liked the d-pad on the dmg design, but snes theme overall I like most.

> 3 dayBought this to use with my RetroPie setup (and my Switch as a bonus). You need to charge the battery pack before updating the firmware (or just pop some AA batteries in). It definitely feels third-party, but its a comfortable controller to use for long periods of time. The D-pad feels nicer than the one on my Switch Pro Controller, and the joysticks are fluid. The L2/R2 buttons are mushy so the Pro controller definitely wins there, but overall its a good controller and I definitely would buy another one. Pros: - Button mapping supported (need to download the software from 8bitdos website) - Rechargeable (has a removable battery pack if youd rather use AA batteries) - Solid D-pad, smooth joysticks - Comfortable grip Cons: - Mushy L2/R2 buttons - Cant wake Switch using this controller

> 3 dayThe battery life is amazing. I play for literally 8 hours straight and the battery indicator doesn’t move. The grips are very comfortable, the controller has a matte texture. The battery pack is removable and rechargeable. If you somehow drain the battery, you can pop in 2 AA batteries and keep playing. The bag is great for keeping scratches off of the controller. Which is great for traveling. My sister lives in California and I live in South Carolina, so this bag will definitely get used. My iPad will be my gaming/movie machine for the almost 12 hour flight. It’s works with Ipad ios! Genshin is about to get so much easier. The keychain is also super cute and good quality. If you’re skeptical about the seller, they have great customer service and I do recommend buying from them.

> 3 daySomething happened, I own about 5 of these controllers for my whole family and one of the updates caused Bluetooth paring with xinput (windows) to have problems, the controller will pair but disconnect after some time and shut down. This happens with all of my 8bitdo pro2, it happens on more then one PC in the house. I can get them working with the Switch no problem and have a work around with the 8bitdo dongle but uh yea these went from the favorite controller in the house to mostly unusable, Ive even tried to roll back the firmware and no luck its very disappointing

> 3 dayIt works wonderfully with the Switch, but on Android its a mixed bag. I was hoping to use this on my Galaxy Tab S7 as an all in one controller but it isnt compatible with Call Of Duty Mobile. (Meanwhile Xbox controllers are) Emulators on Android do work but COD was a deal breaker. Im going to return this but if I needed another Switch controller for any classic games or Mario Maker, this would be wonderful. (Feels like holding a PS2/PS3 controller with better joysticks)

> 3 dayWaiting on customer support to see if they will fix my issue, but after two months of VERY light use, the face of my right trigger just fell off… It’s a shame because the controller otherwise works great and looks great. I’ll update this with my customer support experience if they get back to me about rectifying the issue.

> 3 dayWorks easily and as readily as described, super comf, least expensive way to enjoy a controller across multiple platforms. Love it. The bag for it is a nice added value, letting me keep it and it’s cable with instructions together with no fuss. I do wish the bag were reinforced but as is, it does a good job of protecting it. Certainly more than nothing at all, and it was free.

> 3 day8bitdo is by far one of the best 3rd party with a 1st party feel controllers. It works across many platforms and does the job. It has become my preferred controller.

> 3 dayI was interested in this controller after hearing about it and I can definitely say it lived up to my expectations. The controller is perfect for all the ways I can play games (minus PS4) but for Switch and PC, its very good for switch games and PC/Emulators. I havent found a definitive use for the back buttons but the profile switch has been helpful for games where I can switch from Switch to Xbox Layout. The additional items were a nice addition and were for a reasonable additional 5 dollars compared to the regular MSRP of the default controller. I did receive the case but not the keychain but I didnt find any use out of that keychain since Im really a big keychain person. The case is good but could barely fit the controller and doesnt really seem to be protective compared to 8bitdos official case but rather be easier to travel due to how small and compact it is. So to summarize the controller is really good and the case does a good job for whats its worth.

Greater than one weekDefinitely helped me improve my gaming performance on my Nintendo Switch. The turbo mode is nice! My one star off is regarding the looseness of the D-pad button inside the housing. It has a bit more play then what I would like. Overall a solid controller for the price, and being able to use it with other devices is a big plus!
