Little bit of stickers when you turn down the Dead zone.

I bought this controller for myself after viewing multiple good reviews on YouTube. I wanted a wireless controller I could use to play Nintendo Switch games with my son. I can’t stand the joycons that come with the Switch! They’re so small and uncomfortable! This controller is modeled after the Super Nintendo controller with the addition of grips to hold on to that increase comfort. I’ve been able to play for many hours on a single charge. The only thing I haven’t liked so far is that it occasionally has some difficulty pairing with the Switch. Other than that it’s a great controller and I’d highly recommend it.

This is great! I bought it for my switch. I paired it to my phone and was sad that the triggers didnt work. I switched it to X-input mode and they worked! I just happened to try out the Xbox streaming app and it works perfectly! Wow. This controller is awesome.

Phone, PC Bluetooth, Switch. All worked flawlessly. It is clever to have the startup choose the button layout. I had set my phone to xbox360, so this controller was different, but was auto-detected seamlessly. Worked with Geforce NOW and Trackmania through Epic. Worked with Emulators on phone.

Controller is great, its exactly the quality I expected from 8bitdo. I use it constantly, but I think Im running the rechargeable battery out already! Ill update if I have any issues. So far so good! I didnt get the bag (I talked with customer service about it already, we gucci), with the order, but the keychain was in there, so it was obviously opened to get that in there. But yea its still chugging so far! I use it for Switch and PC, I connected it to my phone once for a giggle (it worked). Only minor issue I have is that it DOES have a turbo function (which Ive found pretty useless, never really got into turbo analogs on pads) and Ive activated it 3 times on accident, but was getting pretty button mashy in those instances. IF I ever need a new controller Ill probably be another 8bitdo ^^

    Greater than one week

I was interested in this controller after hearing about it and I can definitely say it lived up to my expectations. The controller is perfect for all the ways I can play games (minus PS4) but for Switch and PC, its very good for switch games and PC/Emulators. I havent found a definitive use for the back buttons but the profile switch has been helpful for games where I can switch from Switch to Xbox Layout. The additional items were a nice addition and were for a reasonable additional 5 dollars compared to the regular MSRP of the default controller. I did receive the case but not the keychain but I didnt find any use out of that keychain since Im really a big keychain person. The case is good but could barely fit the controller and doesnt really seem to be protective compared to 8bitdos official case but rather be easier to travel due to how small and compact it is. So to summarize the controller is really good and the case does a good job for whats its worth.

More the first month I had this and the SN30Pro I had a hard time finding any flaw. While the pro is great for my retro game and metroidvania needs. Its does cause discomfort after just a few hours on and shooter or AAA title. The pro+ is great for extended periods of time and after 6+ hours of sweaty Apex Legends I have zero discomfort. Smaller than the xbone controller and just slightly larger than a PS controller in where your palms rest. The ultimate software is awesome for quick swaps of almost anything but has a learning curve when it comes to the macro. As well as the semi/full/burst fire options. Theres not really a definitive guide to the software either so expect to sink time into learning it. My only problem came around a month after owning it. When all of a sudden I started getting really delayed inputs on bt as well as full presses of the joystick from partial presses. Like it had become sentient or something. After a week of this happening every 5 min or so I reached out the their amazing support team. Which helped me fix the problem right away. As I write this the most recent software v4.01 fixed all my issues and Im back loving this controller.

These are by far, the best third party controllers I use for (mainly) my Nintendo Switch, and my phone. It just sucks that one of the controllers I purchased back in December 2020 has already started to show some wear & tear. Ive attached a pic that shows one of the joysticks material peeling. Ive reached out to customer support and waiting to get a response from them :) Would still highly recommend these though!

The controller is no brainer, its excellent. But never received the bag that was advertised with it for only that reason i rated 3 star.

First, Id like to offer a HUGE THANK YOU to Shirley at Aknes for the OUTSTANDING customer support!!! There was an mix-up at the Amazon warehouse, so when I first ordered this controller they sent me a Pro+ by mistake. I sent it back for an exchange and they sent me ANOTHER Pro+, and then I only had the option to return it for a refund. I reached out to Aknes to let them know about what happened, and Shirley responded within the same day and personally ordered me another controller. Unfortunately, this one was also a Pro+, but she told me to keep it anyways. About a week later, she let me know that they fixed the inventory issue and that I had been sent a new Pro 2 controller in the mail. Sure enough, this time it was the correct controller! Ive never in my life received such great treatment from a company, and so I am super grateful to Shirley and Aknes for all the help they gave me. Even with a slight language barrier, the communication was great and I can say with certainty that this merchant is very honorable. So now Ive personally got to test out the Pro+ and the Pro 2 (both of them the G Classic editions), and can definitely say that the Pro 2 is a much better controller. The Pro+ is still very nice, and I do like the fact that Im not accidentally pressing the extra buttons on the back all the time (I personally dont use these on the Pro 2, as I would accidentally be pressing them all the time), but where the Pro 2 shines is this: 1. They fixed the grinding noise/sensation on the D-Pad, so it feels much smoother 2. You can update the drivers via Bluetooth on your phone/tablet with the 8Bitdo Ultimate Software 3. You can customize your analog/trigger sensitivity and button configurations with the Ultimate Software as well, via Bluetooth on your phone/tablet 4. Battery life seems to last a few hours longer on the Pro 2 than on the Pro+ 5. The grip on the Pro 2 makes it easier for me to not squeeze the controller while Im playing, so my hands dont cramp 6. Those two extra programmable buttons on the back are probably awesome for someone who likes to use them. Would probably be a great function for Smash Bros or Street Fighter or something with twitchy gameplay like that. 7. To power up the Pro 2, all you have to do is have the toggle switch set to the correct position and press the Start button where as with the Pro+ you have to hold A,B,X or Y and THEN press Start (to pick your connection type) The Pro+ and the Pro 2 are both extremely well made controllers, and they work similarly well. But the Pro 2 is definitely my new favorite, because it feels nice in my hands while Im playing and also I can customize it for different devices. Right now Im using it between my Nintendo Switch and also Stadia, GeForce Now and Steam via Shadow PC through the nVidia Shield Pro TV app -- and its the perfect controller for all of them!!! Also, the sweet keychain and carrying bag included with each controller make it easier for me to organize my video game mess. Thank you again, Shirley and Aknes, for all of your help!!!!
