Greater than one weekAwesome joystick, synced immediately with my Raspberry Pi gaming system. Good weight and quality. The only downside is the price that is a little high compared to other options, even thought the quality is pretty good.

Greater than one weekThis is the first off-brand controller Ive bought where the buttons all work in every game! Its a great value for the price and is very aesthetically pleasing; definitely more so than the official Nintendo Pro Controller. The charging is very easy with USB-C and lasts a very long time. I havent had to charge it again since I got it, and its been around 3 weeks. If youve been using the Nintendo Joycons connected together or the Nintendo Pro Controller, it takes a second to get used to the placement of the stick and the d-pad, but its not bad. I used to play a lot of Playstation, so it made sense to me. The vibration is also a little aggressive, which I like, but can be adjusted. Its also a little large for my hands, but the added compatibility with PC, Mac, and smartphones is a worth it trade off.

> 3 daySomething happened, I own about 5 of these controllers for my whole family and one of the updates caused Bluetooth paring with xinput (windows) to have problems, the controller will pair but disconnect after some time and shut down. This happens with all of my 8bitdo pro2, it happens on more then one PC in the house. I can get them working with the Switch no problem and have a work around with the 8bitdo dongle but uh yea these went from the favorite controller in the house to mostly unusable, Ive even tried to roll back the firmware and no luck its very disappointing

> 3 dayI bought this after trying out a similar looking, cheap competitor. There is no comparison between the two. This controller feels very well built and solid, with great button feel. The downloadable software is great and allows you to fine tune the joysticks and button mapping however you like. Battery life is excellent. Ive gotten over 5 hours and still havent recharged it since new. No problems pairing to Android (Samsung and Motorola both worked fine), or two Windows 10 PCs. No lag from the Bluetooth connection at all. Just buy it!

> 3 dayI have used numerous controller by 8BitDo and i swear by them. this is my number one favorite. Easily connected to my Nintendo switch, Android phone, and PC. The battery life is amazing, and lasted me numerous days of continuous gameplay (and I mean 12 hours plus a day under quarantine. The feel is very like the dual shock controllers. If you are thinking about getting this controller, GET IT! I never write these, so that must say something, hahaha.

> 3 dayDefinitely helped me improve my gaming performance on my Nintendo Switch. The turbo mode is nice! My one star off is regarding the looseness of the D-pad button inside the housing. It has a bit more play then what I would like. Overall a solid controller for the price, and being able to use it with other devices is a big plus!

Greater than one weekI got this purple controller and the color is amazing. Not only that but the buttons feels crisp and that dpad for 2D games is a blast to use. I mostly got it for some retro games and 2d platforms. The software it comes with is decent but if you use the controller on PC it wont let you map to a keyboard which might be a deal breaker if not for free alternatives out there to allow you to map the controller to keyboard. Downside those mapping apps is you can not map the back buttons. The way it feels in the hands and the long battery life make this something I would recommend to any 2D platform fan.

> 3 dayI bought 3 of these controllers and they all have the same issues so Im not being biased. When the controller is actually connected to my switch its usually no problems. The problems start with how hard it is to try to pair them with the switch! Out of 10 times I only can connect with no issues 1 or 2 times at most. The rest of the times it is a constant pain to have to try and try again to connect the way it says in the manual. It takes as long as 20 - 25 minutes to finally connect a controller. We try various ways to try to connect the controls as well, not just by what we read in the manual and the same issue presents itself eventually. Battery life has been OK. When we do actually connect the controller to play, the play time can be from 1-3 hours with no issues and with battery still having a respectable amount left. Or so you think! When there is short game play we dont usually charge the controller but no matter how little we use it by the time we play again the following day, there is no battery left even though it is off. When the controller gets charged and then left off, and unused for more than 2 days, the battery is usually dead when we try to play with it. The quality of this controller I must say is a the best quality, second only to the Switch controllers sold by Nintendo themselves. I have not tried to use it with any of my other devices with Bluetooth so I will post an update soon.
