I’ll start with the main problem which I found to be probably the only thing wrong but large enough to return and go with a different brand. The 2.4ghz doesn’t get over 150mbs down, when it should be getting 300-600mbs down with my fiber 1000/1000. The 5.0 only gets half the speeds that it should as well. Now I changed setting called addys tech and even sent a system log in and nothing they only told me they needed more logs. So maybe it’s a defective unit, so I order my second one thinking this has to be it. New router arrives same problem. I’m short DO NOT BUY THIS ROUTER. If you plan on getinng blazing fast wireless speeds. The 2.5 port is very fast and nice but the wireless is garbage.

This is not half bad but also not future proof for higher multig connections. I was going to upgrade mymodem to a 2.5G but realized this router only has a 1G wan port. Although you can link aggregate up to 2 G with the WAN port and LAN 4 port that is 1G each so max speed is 2G input from your modem which also has to have at least 2 LAN ports capable of a 1G each. (with cat5e cables) but the new modem i wagoing to get was a Surfboard S33 and that only has either a 2.5G or a 1G LAN port but does not have LAG (Link aggregation group). So a 2.5 Gaming port on this Router is useless beyond 2G. Max you will ever get. So I recommend you get the one with a 10G WAN port for better future proofing. ASUSs UI for the router is very messy and confusing. Needs better organization. I would not get ASUS again but otherwise its still a very good modem. I have not yet experimented with the MESH options as i only have a 1330 SF home and I think it is not needed for such a small home.

Its really quick for the wifi 6e. Im really impressed with it. Its the best investment I did.

Easy and fast setup / Quality product no disconnections, excellent app to control all router functions. Gives excellent coverage for all wiFi areas of home or office area. I also get a 90 day extended Warranty from Asus for my Review feedback.

I bought this router for its traffic monitoring and QoS features. But when I received it today and set it up, I discovered that in order to enable those (and other) features, you must consent to third-party data collection.

The Wi-Fi never works, even when you are in the same room. One bar ALWAYS. The customer service always blames you and then says you need to wait a few days to see if the issue still exists after they have you adjust some settings. They have you turn off most features you bought it for. Of course it never seems to work. Then, when you call back, they send you to a very long hold pattern until you hang up and call back. You can never speak to a tech rep. They say fill out the feed back part form in your Admin page of your router. This has been going on for months now. Ive called and emailed everyday for a week now. I will never buy another ASUS anything EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Mientras no mejoren bien el tema de la potencia en la banda de 6GHz no vale la pena. Adquirí este asus axe11000 el cual cuenta con wifi 6e, decir que fue una mala experiencia, la potencia de la señal de 6GHz es pésima, debes estar practicamente al lado del router para tener con suerte -70 dbm de señal, esta claro que mientras mayor es la frecuencia ocurre que la señal se debilita, pero en verdad yo no le encuentro sentido a esta banda con esa debil potencia, es algo absurdo. Tambien tuve el problema de que la funcionalidad dual wan tampoco funciona correctamente, no se si será un problema de firmware o algún otro inconveniente. Por este motivo decidí devolver el router y continuar usando mi tplink gamer ax11000 el cual tiene solo wifi 6 pero funciona de maravillas, ademas cuenta con tribanda y opcion de canales dfs a 160 mhz con lo cual consigues menor interferencias y la misma tasa de transferencia de datos que la banda de 6GHz y el nivel de potencia es potente, además de costar la mitad en precio. En lo personal no recomiendo aun el wifi 6e, por lo menos hasta que mejoren los hardwares de los routers en potencia, no malgasten su dinero!

I had the same issue as another reviewer where I had to setup the initial internet using the 1gig WAN port. The 2.5gig WAN port does not work initially. Another issue I ran into was that the first administration login screen was in Chinese. I had to guess what fields were what and it didnt allow me to change the language until actually logging in. That said, the first thing I did once the internet was working was to update to the latest firmware. I see that other reviewers have not mentioned that, but I assume they did that (or they shouldnt be complaining).
