> 3 dayI have a rather complicated and large home network and after much research I decided to buy this router. I had a few bumps along the way when I first migrated my devices over, and had a hiccup or two getting the mesh running at first. BUT, since then, smooth sailing and fantastic reliable speed. After much testing I found that I really didnt need a second AP with coverage from my main router. But I added the second because, well, why not? We have a 1300sf 2 story town house with a massive amount of nearby networks. And just the one router covers the home, back yard and garage great! But, I still added the second router so I could cover an even bigger area, and while completely unnecessary, its impressive! I had read numerous reports of bad experiences, but I found that by setting up the router, and mitigating many different bad devices, cables, and converters in my LAN, Im getting stable fast internet everywhere.

> 3 dayI bought from ASUS website. I wish I bought on Amazon with insurance. ASUS sucks big time for everything. The customer service sucks. Last product I will ever buy from ASUS. Here I come engenius or ubiquiti!

> 3 dayGood product from Asus, lots of customization options within the operating system. However, does not work well with Verizon FIOS (1Gb/s), does not get full 1Gb/s (i.e. ~1,000 Mb/s) upload speeds. For me, tops out at about 200Mb/s upload. Download speed does reach 1Gb/s.

Greater than one weekMy experience with this router has been terrible. I have two ET8 nodes connected via wired backhaul. All my devices have had problems with random disconnects since the beginning. I should’ve just returned this right away. Now I’m on the phone trying to get tech support and no help in sight. If this weren’t so expensive, I would just throw it away and get another mesh router from another company.

Greater than one weekNo matter what setting I try, I cannot get 6e to broadcast the SSID. I never expected ASUS to fail me like this.

> 3 dayI wanted to upgrade to 6E and I really liked the feature list on the Asus. I have my two ET8s paired with a ROG GT-AXE11000 functioning as the router with the two ET8s as the satellites.

21-12-2024Connectivity started dropping about every 10 minutes. I work from home so had to run to get something else. Highly disappointed with reliability and when googling found this problem has happened with others.

> 3 dayOut of the box it’s super easy to setup. I recommend identifying what you’ll use for passwords in advance. I liked that the web GUI shows a full list of recommended security settings (e.g., turn off UPnP, etc.). You feel secure immediately. I like that you don’t have to pay for the security like with Orbi.
