ASUS ZenWiFi Whole-Home Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6E System (ET8 2PK), Coverage up to 5,500 sq.ft & 6+Rooms, 6600Mbps, New 6GHz Band, AiMesh,Instant Guard

Bought due to having gig service…was never able to get over 400-500Mbps. Wired or Wirelessly. Returned and bought an Ubiquity system! Ultimate Dream Router is WAY better!

I have a 50+ foot long home with the base internet on one side and was getting weak signals far away from base router. I have 300/300 Bis service, and near the base router I can exceed that. At the far end of the house 100/50 approximately 30 feet and 2 walls away from the node which is good a enough to stream 1080p video several times over. Note some devices I needed to bind to the base router so it would connect to the stronger signal.

The WiFi system does what it advertised. Easy install and the coverage and signal strength is awesome. Eliminate all the dead spots in our 1.5 story ranch style home were the internet service is at one end of the home. The parental control in the app is amazing and allows me to easily schedule individual device downtime to limit my kids screen time. I have been a long time customer of Asus products and this WiFi route delivered as expected!

This was my second try at a Mesh WiFi 6 router. The setup took about 5 mins. You have to set the satellites close to each other at first, which seem a little odd but you can move them where you like after that. It has a dedicated mesh 2.4/5 GHz mesh WiFi 6 system that works great. I pay for 200 Mbps and I get it. My first try was the night hawk from net gear and the speeds were up and down. I check my speeds at that the source, and it is consistent with phone app. You also can get up to six guest networks and assign them to the 2.4 or the 5 GHz channel. This is very nice if you have older camaras or devices that only work on the 2.4 GHz channel. The mesh system is designed to switch automatically, depending on where you are, not good for older device that only run on 2/4 GHz. The guest networks can be assigned. The parent control features are outstanding if you have kids. App is ok but there is no help to better understand the details on the screens. I prefer the computer interface, which is easier to navigate. I called the help line, and they were quick to respond and helpful with my technical questions. Once it is set up, you are done. I would recommend this product.

random disconnections and reboots.

I added these two to an existing Asus RT82U to my 35-year old three-story 3500 sq ft house. I put the main unit on the first-floor and each of the Zen units in the basement and 2nd floor. Coverage and speeds have been consistently good, and the Wi-Fi 6 works perfectly on the 3 devices that currently support it. For the price and ease of use, these are perfect.

Tried two other mesh routers but this one really stands out. Game changer!
