> 3 dayAs promised the router is fast and can handle my 50+ devices with ease when its operating normally. My house is only 2100 sq feet but has thick walls, so I found mesh networks to work well. Previously had a Deco followed by Google Mesh. Very pleased the 6ghz is stable with a great connection through a brick wall and about 50 feet from the main router.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace a first gen eero system in order to take advantage of the tri-band ax. Right now, Im using the 6GHz wireless for dedicated backhaul, eventually planning to hardwire it after moving in ~ 6 months. Not sure its going to make it that long:

Greater than one weekI have a 50+ foot long home with the base internet on one side and was getting weak signals far away from base router. I have 300/300 Bis service, and near the base router I can exceed that. At the far end of the house 100/50 approximately 30 feet and 2 walls away from the node which is good a enough to stream 1080p video several times over. Note some devices I needed to bind to the base router so it would connect to the stronger signal.

> 3 dayI did not deduct a star because I was able to figure out exactly how to use these in my situation. I did not want one to be the router and the other as the node. What I wanted to do was add both as nodes and continue using my Asus RT-AX86s as the main router. I must note that all my hardware is connected via Ethernet - lucky for me, my house came prewired for it in all rooms. I reset both devices and then was able to add them both as nodes - one on main floor in my room and one upstairs in my sons room (the RT-AX86S is in the basement) It has worked flawlessly. I did not try to use these as WiFi so cannot comment on those. If you can connect via Ethernet cable, that would be best IMHO.

> 3 dayThe product was removed from its original packaging and repackaged into an Amazon box which was annoying. The units needed to be reset before they would work. The units perform very well.

Greater than one weekI had a T-Mobile branded Asus router and it worked great for years. It was solid with a very good user interface. I would rarely lose connection with that router.

> 3 dayIncluded in the box are a quick start guide and the associated hardware. The guide lists three different LED colors and related meanings. The LEDs glow all sorts of colors, but what do they mean? Well, it turns out that green means the router is optimizing. Whatever that means... The trouble is, it optimizes about every 3 minutes. When it is optimizing it takes down Wifi and LAN, so that there is no internet access! EVERY THREE MINS! FOR OVER THREE HOURS! How did I find out what green means? I had to use my phone.

> 3 dayI bought a two pack ET8 and what a waste of money. This thing is a POS and I am not satisfied with the purchase. After about 45-50 days it quit working properly. I contacted Amazon and was told I had to work through ASUS and that ASUS would provide a replacement. That was not true, ASUS requires the unit to be sent to them at my cost and then I am without an internet router for how ever long it takes them to work on it and return it.
