Ive had the monitor for about a month and the screen quality has been excellent for both movies and console gaming. This isnt my first BenQ and it wont be my last. I am using last gen console Xbox One S and PS4 Pro. I dont have the new consoles yet so i dont how they would do on this monitor but I do recommend for those playing on last gen consoles.

Been wanting a 32 display for a while but couldnt part with $$$$. This EW3270U was very affordable and I was getting everything but an IPS panel. But the VA panel works fine for me. I connected my MacBook Air M1 with the included USB C cable and it auto detected and was good to go. Later found adjustments for volume, bright, contrast etc. Eveb one setting for a video mode called MacBook and it looks even better. Very plastic frame, but sturdy VESA mount, audio has good volume but so-so quality. Im not a gamer so i dont know if this VA panel at 60hz would be good enough. There were settings for HDR and other auto adjusting settings but i havent tried them out. Im very happy with this affordable 32 4k display that works out of the box with my Macs with USB C!

This monitor has great resolution, and color accuracy. It’s vibrant. No dead pixels that I could see upon arrival, even with a test. However, my unit came with a defective backlight. It’s a VA panel so I didn’t expect to have any backlight bleed, but alas it has bad bleeding in basically all the corners. I assume this is defective and not something you should expect with this display. The HDR on this monitor isn’t effective at all. In fact, HDR content looked better and more vibrant and lifelike with it turned off. I can only assume that’s because this monitor has no VESA certification for HDR. It definitely wouldn’t even support displayHDR 400 standards. I’m sure this monitor is decent with a non-defective backlight and if you don’t care to use HDR, but for me this was very underwhelming. Even if the backlight wasn’t defective, I would still unfortunately return this monitor because of the false HDR.

the experience buying this monitor was really bad, I bought it and the carrier lost the monitor and they delivered me something totally different, the second time they sent it it arrived relatively fast but the audio was not working, one HDMI port works weird, however the image quality is very good.

This is what Id call just an okay VA panel. It looks pretty good on axis at a distance but the viewing angle is not good enough at regular seated desk distances. Even straight on, youll see some color shift in the corners of the display. I find this very distracting in any darker content, games, photo editing, dark themed text editors, etc. Its far from the worst VA panel in this regard but I have also seen better. In testing this, I found the color depth reported in the EDID table is 8-bit, which is rather disappointing for a 10-bit panel. Its not clear if this is actually a 10-bit VA panel or 8-bit with FRC, but if your input device only connects with 8-bit you cant take advantage of either. When I did override the EDID, I was able to get a 10-bit input displayed but I imagine most users of this monitor are simply using it in 8-bit mode. The stand is bad but also easy to replace. The monitor itself is pretty well built so just plan to replace the stand if you need any flexibility and things should work fine. If you are mostly using this at TV distances, Id recommend it for use in darker rooms due to the low peak brightness. Its got very good color range and contrast if you are far enough away to stay in the viewing angle sweet spot. 10-bit color isnt needed for most uses. HDR is pretty useless here but it does technically work if you override the EDID color depth and dont expect accurate brightness representation (no LCD can do this without full array local dimming and this monitor is uniformly backlit).

Overall the Unit is working well. BenQ came through with a replacement monitor in short order. The scale of the screen is great. Looks great on games, works well for graphic design. The brightness is a little less intense than my Asus but with the right settings, it looks much crisper. The only complaint I have is on the edges of the 32-inch screen it gets a bit blurred but truly thats with all LCD monitors. For the money/value this is a good product.

Like the options that it gives you for input, I use it for my mobile solution for trading any place.

Great monitor eith great clarity for a VA panel. I underestimated it for sure. I was looking for an improvement from my 32inch 1080p VA panel and I got more than I was expecting out of this monitor. The colors are deep but I will have to say that the HDR can be a bit dull. Most experiences were better off without because it doesnt get bright enough to notice. The emulated HDR feature provided better color depth than actual HDR. Minor light bleed but only noticeable on a blank, dark screen. Works great with console as well. Xbox One X looks great. Id imagine that it looks equally as great with the Series X as well.

I was a little nervous about this VA panel, since I was used to IPS, but I didnt need to worry. I found that the colors were quite good out of the box even without calibration, and that viewing angles were wide enough that I could forget about them during use. In my quest for screen real estate, I previously had a 39 4k flat panel, which caused me some neck strain, but this 32 panel is a more practical size for me. Its light enough to move easily on my VESA arm (I never used the included stand). I have a 15 mid-2014 MBP, which drove this display at 4k via the included mini-DP cable with no noticeable input lag. The monitor also included DP and USB-C cables. I turned off scaling for better compatibility with Parallels Desktop so things look much smaller, but text is still very legible.

hard to find a great monitor with built in speakers, but this BenQ EW2780Q fits the bill perfectly. I bought Amazon used-very good, and it is basically like new, since the only minor scuff was on the back cover. I mainly use for web surfing and home office, so I wasnt looking for theater level sound. Picture quality is great for my needs. Its a well built monitor.
