> 3 dayAfter having to hold my hand on the trigger with Dyson handheld vacuum that just pushed cat litter around and I had to sweep anyway, and getting pain in my fingers/wrist I saw someone using this at their house. It was exactly what I was looking for but somehow the searches did bring this up. I love l: 1) the on/off switch 2) it is cordless (and actually lasts for the whole house) 3) a button to remove the hand vacuum when you see something in the couch and pop it right back on 4) a quick button for the rug function (I have hard floors with area rugs) so I can go from hardwood to rug for a few seconds and right back without having to do anything to the vacuum except push a button 5) another button to quickly reach under furniture 6) lightweight and not all the weight in your hands With all these features and not having to change anything but a button I can do the whole house every other day in just 10-15min!

> 3 dayVery good suction. Almost as good as our central vac and much easier to maneuver. Very happy with purchase.

> 3 dayThe product seems to work fine. Bissell gives to animal projects which is a plus for us. My problem was with delivery. It is a large package and it got shuffled over to US PS and we ended up waiting an extra four days and having to go into the main post office to pick it up because they don’t deliver packages that size. Why didn’t UPS just deliver it?

> 3 dayIve had this type of Bissell for 5 years. The early model didnt have great battery life, but the newer one is improved. I really love it. Considering it is lightweight, its powerful enough to do 80% of what I need. Thats a perfect score for me......

> 3 dayI had a bolt and I broke it. I replaced it with a different type of stick vacuum. It was not even comparable-suction was weak, short life battery, dirt container was small and easily clogged. After struggling with it for 6 months I just went back to the Bissell. Its easy and great for keeping hardwood and rugs clean. I also like the detachable hand vac. Overall, a great cordless vac that helps me keep up with endless bits of dirt, grass, and crumbs on my floors!

> 3 dayI LOVE this! I bought a house from a “flipper” and it is a little more than half carpet, the rest is hardwood and the kitchen, linoleum. I have four dogs. I also have neuropathy, making it hard to maneuver with no obstacles not to mention with furnishings. I have been struggling to keep the dog hair and dust down with a broom due to my asthma. Today I whipped out my little Bissell and gave it a whirl. It is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I did not have to pull out my sofa and try to get behind with the broom. I simply used the bend down handle feature and away went all the fur and dust. I have huge library cabinets that cannot be moved, but I went right under those as well. I was disgusted at what the broom and Swiffer had been missing. I just can’t get under there like I used to. It took up pieces of kibble from the kitchen floor, bits of dried rice, and dirt the dogs bring in. I have a very dusty house despite air purifiers. This sucks up all the dust and human hair from the bathroom floor too. A word about carpet. This appliance is just fine for my area rugs and I am certain it would be fine for ordinary plush carpet of a standard depth. However, the “flipper” chose to put in cheap ugly shag carpeting (can you actually believe that?!) in the bedrooms and small family room). This product does not provide heavy suction for shag carpet. It did remove surface and craft glitter, but there were larger bits that I had to go over several times. I love this vacuum for the purpose I bought it for, to stay on top of the dog hair in my floored areas, which is where I spend 2/3 of my day. It does a fantastic job. No more taking the broom and dustpan out everyday. I love that it is cordless and recharges with ease. I am not tripping over a cord. The dirt bin is small, but it is simple to empty in 2 seconds. I did my living, dining, and kitchen areas and then had to empty it, but my home is small. This is a fabulous help to me!

> 3 dayIt has been more then a challenge keeping the floors clean with a 5 year old, senior dog and a puppy. Not having to plug/unplug makes vacuuming a breeze, not a chore. It picks up everything on my tiled floors, rugs and carpet. It’s nice and light and much quieter the my regular vacuum. You won’t regret this purchase.

> 3 dayThe problem with modern stick vacuums is that they heavy and they place that weight in your hand, not down by the vacuum head. The result is that hand gets tired and the vacuum head never gets the weighting it needs to stay on the floor. This also means the head can skip it f you working on a rug. And you can never stand them up because the weight is the top. This Bissel unit places the handheld unit towards the door, so the wheels carry it and the head stays on the surface you are vacuuming. as a result, you do less work and it gets the job done faster. The vacuum unit detaches and works as a hand vac. Its easy to detach and reattach, and the dirt cup releases easily. Also nice is the folding arm, bends forward to help reach under furniture, and then backward for smaller storage. To me, this style is a no-brainer, but the trend is toward the style where the weight of the motor is in your hand and carried by hand, elbow, and shoulder. TWO NEGATIVES are 1) The attachments, which are really cheap, and 2) no place to carry them on the vacuum, or store them. Still, for the money, this is a decent lightweight stick vac for light duty and easy touch-ups.

> 3 dayWe only use the vacuum for small jobs such as a small carpet in front of the door leading into the house from the garage and in the kitchen. After a few uses the battery runs down and needs recharging.
