THESE ARE NOW IN THE TRASH WHERE THEY BELONG! Ive wasted more time on trying to get the Broadlink app and Alexa to discover these. I finally got them to find one, and within an hour it Alexa said it was unresponsive and remains that way. Tried 2 more but could not get them to be recognized. I have a background in computer system and have several other brands of plugs (along with numerous Echo devices) that I have connected to Alexa. Buy this if you enjoy being frustrated by devices that dont do what the manufacturer says it will.

I have this hooked to my power strip, which supplies my aquarium appliances. I have attached my aquarium light to this exact timer. It works and turns on at the correct and exact time, like down to the seconds, but it is kind of troublesome to use. I have installed the app to use for functionality, and it is a bit overcomplicated in my opinion, like I just want it to turn on at a specific time and off at another time but it does not exactly allow this. It also does not turn off or function correctly in my opinion, as it is meant to turn off at 4:00, but was on at ~5:40 PM on two consecutive days after setting it up. Edit: I have decreased my rating of the product as it is hard to use with the NoAPP functionality. Perhaps I am setting it up wrong, but it never turns off correctly, which can get plain irritating. Perhaps there are better products, but for now, I appreciate the mechanical timers more.

I got this and the install is super easy with the instructions. All you need to know is your wifi name and password. Connects to alexa easily, you just need to activate the skill for it on your alexa app. After that you can rename it, move it, set up commands for it. Anything plugged into this will be able to turn on via alexa! Super cool for the price. Im going to buy more! (I purchased a total of 4 across a 2 month span and havent had any issues)

They do work, some of the time. Had a really hard time getting them to connect to my dedicated 2.5 router. Takes a very long time for some of them to ever connect. I tried the NoApp option as well as both Broadlink and IHP apps. One unit that was disconnected from its power source, lost all of its programing. Could never get it to reconnect. Finally have given up and am trying another brand that I have a much better success rate with (Meross).

These worked ok for a while. I switched internet service providers from century link to xfinity. I got the new xfi router. These unfortunately don’t work with the xFi router because it combines all the band - 2.4GHz 5GHz etc. now they are useless.

I love the NOapp technology and the ease of use and install. I use this to turn off a lamp across my bedroom with Alexa. This smart plug works seamlessly with Alexa. If you are you are in the market for a smart plug but dont want to dump tons of money, this is for you. UPDATE: This does have problems with overheating but it is not too bad.

I was in the market for some additional smart plugs, came across this one and thought it was interesting that i didnt need to install any 3rd party apps to get it running. Setup was really simple, just plug it in and look for the broadlink ssid, associate a email address and wait for your verification code. Then add it to Google Home or Alexa to control it. They seem to be built well, they dont feel cheap as other budget smaller plugs ive purchased before. Overall very pleased with plugs

Broadlink even sent me a replacement for the first one I bought. I thought it was broken but it failed just as miserably as the first plug. I spent hours trying to connect this plug and actually stumbled onto the proper sequence once. But the real problem is how easily the device resets itself and then you have to reconnect it again. I spent two more hours without success and went with a slightly cheaper competitor and I’d recommend any considering this plug to do the same. The competitors device was easy as pie but this plug failed as flat as a pancake.

The instructions were easy to follow. Used it to connect a lamp in the master bedroom. Works well with Alexa AND Google assistant.
