> 3 daythe printer is working fine i was doubting between this one and the one with wifi, but its perfect for the job that we need, what i do like is the mobile access that give you the option to conect the printer to any computer and start the editing program form a smal partion the printer has, and start editing labels and printing them straight away without installing any soft.

> 3 dayWe own a Brother QL-570 and bought a second, QL-700. Both are great label printers. The software is crappy. The PTedit50 software is mickey mouse and features things like when typing text, it disappears off screen on the left. So every edit requires moving the text box back to align with the upper left corner. The built-in Ptlite10 software on the QL-700 sounds great, but cant read the extensive set of labels created under the older Ptedit50. No conversion utility is provided or seems to be available. So every layout needs to be reentered new, a huge waste of time. The lite editor is lite and takes much longer to edit layouts than ptedit50. It looked like we could use ptedit50 with the newer QL-700, but the QL-700 printer driver for Windows 7 64-bit wont install and there does not seem to be any reason why or anything to do. It just says driver installation failed. So we cant use the ptedit50 user library and software and have to use the ptlite10. So, great label printer, crappy software. It is a shame really. Contracting for decent software is not hard. Brother management and marketing have a serious issue with competence. Buyer beware!

> 3 dayIm always impressed by brother products. They are really cheap, but are pretty decent quality. This one is fast, and I really like that you can program it to cut or not cut after each label print.

> 3 dayHaving been a Dymo Labelwriter-Twin Turbo customer for many years I was forced to go to a new labelwriter when I had to leave a failing XP and go to a new Windows 8 System. The Dymo product is not supported on Windows 8. The Brother QL-700 is a totally unacceptable product and I returned it to the store the day after I got it. Here are a few problems and lack of features I ran into. (1) No color printing on the QL-700 (2) Seperately installed tape rolls for stamps and labels. (3) Extremely poor print quality. (4) Seperate programs for editing and printing. Never could figure this out. (5) Learning to use the editing program is an extremely tedious and complicated endeavor. The only positive experience was in bringing over the Dymo address list. Overall bad experience and would recommend staying away from this product.

> 3 dayA little disappointed in the label sizes being somewhat outside the standard making it difficult to synchronize print jobs. I suppose that is by design by the manufacturer. Nice printer for the price though and it works well.
