The SSD worked perfectly as intended

Having done my research I purchased the 500Gb variant of this SSD to upgrade my 5 year old HP Pavilion i5 laptop.

Awesome performing SSD especially for upgrading from older mechanical hard drives. Makes a night and day difference.

This is the second MX500 I have bought for upgrading some older macs I have. I upgraded a 2012 Mac Power Book, and a 2014 Mac mini. Worked well, really improved the speed of my macs. I think these drives are now considered mid range on speed compared to other disks but have good reviews and work well for me.

Packaged well. A great upgrade. I also upgraded my memory at the same time. What used to take a minute to load, is now 3 sec. ( memory was a big plus). After watching a couple of videos, installation was easy. If you want to mimic you current hard drive you will need to purchase a USB 3.0 to SATA III Adapter Cable with UASP SATA to USB Converter for 2.5 Hard Drives Disk HDD and Solid State Drives SSD. I do not play games with this Mac so I did not use the rating.

My drive is doing pretty good after enabling Momentum Cache.

Product arrived as promised. Clone software available to download. Easy to install. Computer now much faster
