> 3 dayThese are fast, reasonably priced, and seem to die less than many other brands, including Samsung. The company I work for has purchased hundreds of these in various capacities and they have had a very low failure rate compared to other brands, over the last 4 years. Ive been using them personally as well for years with no real complaints.

16-12-2024I bought this to extend the storage space available in my gaming laptop. I have a GL65 that originally only came with 512 GB of SSD storage. It did have the storage extension slot. So I broke down and purchased this so that I could have adequate storage space. It arrived very fast. It was very simple adding it into the laptops slot and has worked as expected by adding 1TB of storage. As it stands it has a good transfer rate and moves files from other drives onto it quite quick. For files that are stored on the drive that are copied or cut and pasted - its pretty much instant.

> 3 dayI have never had an SSD before, mainly because I prefer the higher capacities of platter driven HDDs. I decided to upgrade the HDD in my aging Mac mini because the 2.5 inch HDD inside of it was slow. Im impressed with the end result. This drive is fast, like really fast, like going from booting up in 3 minutes to booting up in 15 seconds fast. Theres no noise, apps open quickly, Im very happy with the purchase. I recommend it highly.

> 3 dayI used this to upgrade the storage in my PS4 Pro. I went with 2 TB as anything more might be better saved for my next gaming console. Upgrade was relatively pain free and the drive has performed flawlessly.

Greater than one weekThe Crucial diagnostic tool nailed it! I strongly recommend using this tool to correctly identify upgrades to memory or SSD. The Acronis cloning tool (free version) worked perfectly. The SSD upgrade along with Crucial 16MB memory kit brought my HP Pavilion back to life! Like night and day difference. I use the HP for general computing, not gaming so I cannot comment on its performance for gaming.

> 3 dayI put this in my Dell G3-3579 and it is a world of difference. I have a dual boot system with Windows and Ubuntu, Ubuntu for which I compile an Android ROM (Lineage OS to be specific). It used to take around 8+ hours with the stock 5200 RPM hard drive, but now it only needs about 1-2 hours initially (with syncing and updates being around 30-60 minutes tops). The boot time in Ubuntu also went from around 30-60 seconds to only 5-10 seconds. In Windows, all of the games (like Elder Scrolls Online and Titan Quest) along with Steam start up much more quickly (not including any time to login on the first). The difference is incredible.

> 3 dayThis thing was easy to install and the software copied my HD easily. 500 GB is not a lot, but it was an increase from what I had, so it was plenty. The computer boots up in about 1/10 the time as the HD.
