For the price this is a solid case. I have once or twice dropped my vita in the zipped case from about waist height and its still in pristine condition. The slimline, however, is a very tight fit in the case, and I removed the elastic straps with an X-ACTO because they had a tendency to push the Vita out of the case when I opened it. Anyways it works fine and the case protects it well. It also has a little flap and a few pockets for game cards and VR cards. Not really enough space for a cable or a peripheral, considering the Vitas proprietary has a power brick (I think you can just use another micro USB cable instead though). Anyway its a fine case and I recommend it.

This case is great, sure if feels cheaply construced but its strong enough to protect your Vita. It has a 1 zipper closure, i would of loved 2 zippers so you can close from either side. The elastic straps are nice, keeps your Vita from moving around inside, but if you dont like them you can cut them off with scissors, no problem. It has a middle flap where you can store upto 4 games (but the memory cards are too small the hold securely) and also mesh pouches where you could hold head phones or the USB cord. The outer case is a hard fabric style case. It comes with a metal clip/carabiner. For $10 its a great deal, i recomend.

Pretty good compact case overall, but the one thing I hate is it smells like it was in a small room that was filled with cigarette smoke for years!!! Ive had it for months now and the smell just wont go away, my vita is starting to smell like it now too! I cut out the elastic strips as it seemed like it would eventually pull on my screen protector. It will only fit the vita and some games, theres no spot for memory cards but you can just use a game card slot.

This is exactly what I needed. Its large enough to fit the Vita and a few games, but small enough that it doesnt take up much space in my backpack. The case is actually tougher than I expected - the outside is almost a hard shell. The inside is fully lined with a fairly soft fabric... you wont have to worry about your Vita getting scratched by the insides of the case. Theres a carabiner clip on the outside, as well as an attachment so you can thread a belt through it. I didnt want to buy the Sony carrying case, because its an open design and doesnt even protect the sides of the Vita. I didnt want to buy the Sony travel pouch because its way too big. Considering the cost, I think this is an excellent value for a no-nonsense, simple protective case.

I bought this case for the sole purpose of protecting my vita during transport, and I believe it fulfills that requirement very well. It is a very sturdy case and has a little additional room to store 4 games and the USB cord. I read that some people did not like the elastic straps and I fully expected to cut them out when I received the product. However, I ended up liking them and felt they did a great job securing my Vita and preventing it from shaking around in the case. For me the only negative aspect to the case is that it can really only hold the USB cord and not the AC adapter/power cord. However since my only requirement when buying the case was that it be sturdy, I gave it 5 stars.

No issues with smell like some others have mentioned. Case is of good quality and protects the Vita very nicely and fit is good. I dont use the game or mem card holder so I cant really comment...they are too small for my fingers to get any use out of them. I would recommend to anyone looking for some protection when traveling with the Vita. Its like a shell but not a plastic...I think it will last as long as I have the vita.

I bought this case to protect my PS Vita when Im not using it. The case itself works fine with the Vita is resting inside it, but inside the case is another story. The flap that will hold your games doesnt keep them very snug, so if you open the case to quickly or if its dropped your games will fall out. There are two straps that hold the PS Vita in place, and the first time I pulled on them to slide the Vita underneath, one of the straps broke. I wasnt even pulling that hard. This isnt a terrible case - Its stll usable even with one broken strap, but if you wanted a really nice Vita case I would suggest you look elsewhere.

Tried Frebreze, that didnt do much, tried just airing it out, nada, put a dryer sheet in it and that sorta worked actually, but soaking it in the sink with dish soap for a whole day really seems to have worked. It smells like soap now, and maybe that heinous stench is still there, but its certainly masked to the point where it smells good-to-odd instead of outright bad. It was a very weird smell whatever it was, nothing like new shoes or whatever, was really pungent and foul. The pockets for the games were sewn shut on the wrong end based on the pictures, but you can still get games in them. Not sure if theyre secure or not since I only have one physical game at the moment, but it seems like itll work. I havent cut the elastic bands out yet, but they dont seem necessary; I havent used them but I think removing them might cause the Vita to slide around a bit inside. If it wasnt for the smell I wouldve given it 4 stars, and then 5 if the game pockets werent sewn in wrong. Its the kind of thing that some people seemed to have really lucked out on.

Ill add my recommendations to the others here. This is a very good case that gets the job done at a very reasonable price ($9.01 at the time I am writing this). Overall, the TLDR is that this is a great case that Id recommend with one primary downside: the games tend to easily slip out of the four game sleeves in the case (they are not elastic), so you need to be careful when you open this case in a public place if you have games in there. My full list of Pros/Cons: Pros: - A fairly compact size. - Protective. I wouldnt throw it on the ground, but I dont worry about dropping it. - A good balance between soft (shock-absorbent) and sturdy (protective). - Holds 4 games in addition to the Vita. - The soft interior protects both Vita screens (front and back). - Elastic straps hold the Vita securely in place. - Price. Cons: - Games are a bit loose in their sleeves (game sleeves are not elastic) and can fall out. This is my biggest complaint about this case. I almost lost a game at an airport. - The case had an offensive odor when I opened it (but I got that to mostly go away after leaving the case on the porch for a day). - This case will not comfortably hold the charger cable well (a trade-off for its compact size, which is a Pro). Id recommend this case to someone looking for a practical Vita case at a budget price.

Simple yet stylish in black (there are multiple variants of this basic case type). The synthetic fiber weave texture is vaguely reminiscent of a carbon fiber pattern in miniature and the clamshell halves feel sturdy. The storage flap has four slots for games (which you cant ID at a glance as the pockets are solid fabric) and a two-partition net for general storage. Theres not enough room to house your whole charger, but the USB cable will fit, as will multiple game and memory cards. So far, I have 8 games in mine. The carabiner included is decent quality, although it doesnt like to stay hanging from the small end of the loop. Wasnt sure my Vita with TPU skin case would fit, but it does, snugly. That was a great bonus.
