For the price, this travel case is tough to beat. And for $10, there are some expected minor construction issues, in particular the stitching. The belt loop on the sample I received was stitched at an off angle (the entire belt loop, not the stitching holding the belt loop in place). Not a problem for me since I have no intention of ever wearing this on my belt, but it does indicate a slight lack of attention to detail and care from the factory worker who did the stitching. The stitching on the game card pockets on the inside flap was particularly sub par and popped when inserting a game card, probably they are stitched onto a loose mesh material. The rear mesh tends to catch corners as well, making it difficult to easily slide game cards in place. The insert flap is made out of a neoprene-like foam material and should provide minor padding for the PSV. The mesh stitched onto the insert forms two pockets for storing headphones, a cleaning cloth or a memory card case. The case is made out of thermo-molded sheets of EVA plastic covered with nylon weave on the outside and a soft, low pile nylon lining on the inside. The PSV fits very snugly inside, making it about a slim as possible for a semi-hard shell case that should provide a higher degree of impact protection than a soft nylon sleeve or bag, and a higher level of crush protection due to the semi-rigid shell. It is not a hard case made out of rigid plastic. Design-wise, there was enough care made to include features like the belt loop and a removable lightweight carabiner to attach the case to a bag or belt loop, but neither are really necessary since the overall size of the PSV is more conducive to slipping into a bag or inside jacket pocket. There are two elastic straps sewn into the bottom of the case to hold the PSV in place, presumably to keep people from dumping their console on the ground if theyre holding the case upside down or sideways when opening it. Again, not really necessary and they take extra time to slip on and off. Many will probably end up snipping them off since they never use them, but its possible to just drop the PSV on top of the elastic straps as if they werent even there and the case still zips ups easily. The double zipper has a smooth action. The case lies between a nylon sleeve that mostly provides scratch protection and a hard shell case that provides impact and crush protection. Since the case fits snugly, it adds minimal bulk for those who dont want a blocky hard case or a padded nylon bag large enough to store everything including the PSV AC adapter. Overall, its a perfect slim fit holster for the PSV that works well as a permanent protective storage unit when not being used or plugged into a charge cradle. I would gladly pay $20 for the same design with better construction, better stitching, better game card pockets, a higher quality liner (like the material used in the Madcatz 3DS case), but for $10 it pretty much met expectations and fit the bill perfectly as a place to keep the PSV at home and on the go.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and I couldnt have made a better choice. Its just padded enough to protect the Vita when he throws it in his backpack to head to work or school. It holds a few memory cards and that all you really need, if you buy a case to hold the charger, then the compact size needed to made it truly portable goes out the window! The zipper is a very good quality and this one didnt have the intense odor others have spoken about. After it was opened on Christmas morning, we put it outside on the deck to air out ...just in case it did. The stitching is perfect and for the price, come on folks, this is a fantastic buy! When you think about what the Vita costs, this is a very needed purchase the day you buy it.

I GIVE IT A 4 BECAUSE IT SEEMS TO DO WHAT I NEED IT FOR. THE REASON 4 & NOT 5, BECAUSE ITS ZIPPER & CLIP DO NOT COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER.MY PS VITA SLIPPED OUT DUE TO THE CLIP BEING ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ZIPPER CAUSING ME TO QUICKLY USE MY FOOT TO STOP IT FROM HITTING THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIR CASE BY SLIDING IT ONTO A STEP, MY NEGLIGENCE I MUST ADMIT WAS NOT ZIPPING IT ALL THE WAY SHUT, BUT THAT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE PROBLEM IF THE CLIP WAS WERE THE ZIPPER CLOSED ALL THE WAY UP INSTEAD OF UPSIDE DOWN. I HOPE THAT HELPS ANYONE OUT, IT SEEMS SOLID & STURDY. I HAD IT FOR ALMOST A MONTH. INSIDES OKAY ENOUGH TO FIT 2 PS VITAs OR PSPs. REMEMBER TO VACUUM INSIDE GETS RATHER LINTY. GOOD FEEL,NOT BAD STITCH WORK ON MINE, CANT HELP BUT FEEL LIKE THE GAME POUCHES SHOULD HAVE BUTTON SNAPS TO CLOSE IT THOUGH..JUST TO BE SAFE,GAME POUCHES FEEL CHEAP LIKE AN EVERLAST MMA GLOVE,BUT I DONT BOTHER WITH IT MUCH ANYWAYS. BE VERY! CAREFUL WHEN EXTRACTING THE PS VITA BECAUSE OF THE STRAPS YOUR LEFT & RIGHT JOYSTICKS WILL! GET CAUGHT ON THEM..A QUICK WARNING,THEY HOLD IT VERY WELL..EVEN WHEN EXTRACTING THE VITA AS WELL. SEEMS LIKE THIS CASE IS JUST FINE (FOR NOW) ONLY TIME WILL TELL, BUT I LIKE IT, USE TO USE AN OLD WINTER HAT AS A COVER FOR MY PSPs(LENGTHY REVIEW I KNOW,BUT HEY, YOUR WELCOME)CHEERS.

Nice case. I was looking for something not to big, but would protect my Vita. This fits both requirements very well. Not a lot of room for storage, but I wasnt look for that type of case. There is enough to old several games, a charging cable and an adapter so you can charge it from a common USB wall charger.

I can store up to 4 game cards inside it (in the flap it has inside) and it also has a little mesh bag to store other games (thats what I am going to do at least) The outside of the case feels soft tothe touch and the inside is also soft. No risk of scratching your PS Vita. It has 2 elastic straps that makes it even more secure. Someone said you can play with your vita inside this case, that is true to some extent... but if you need the bumpers or the back touch screen then you wont be able to use it (Frobisher Says and Mod Nation are 2 games that I have that cant be played while the console is inside the case) The construction feels solid and protective. I havent tested it... Im not crazy, but I trust it enough to throw it inside my backpack without worrying that my pens are going to scratch the screen or that the weight of the ASUS ROG is going to crush it. If youre looking for an inexpensive and solid case, I recommend this. 5/5 stars

its a necessity if you have a psvita. it did smell funny when i first opened it but it will go away after sometime. the only bad thing about this is that the game cartridge will come out of the pockets easily. if i shake the case and open it odds are that the games are out of their pockets and scattered on the thing. i kind of fixed the issue by buying some velcro and sticking it on the ends so the flap stays closed and the games dont go flying out every where.

very inexpensive travel case. I just needed something that wouldnt take up much more space than the Vita (I have the PS Vita 1000), and this works well. I really dont care for the two elastic straps that hold the Vita in the case. You cant use the vita while in the case, so the straps are a bit annoying when removing the Vita (they seem to always snag on one of the joysticks). If you are a klutz, you may appreciate the elastic straps. Otherwise, its easy enough to cut the straps if you dont like them.

I wanted something that was as compact as possible to protect it when traveling. My only confilct is I also bought the trigger case which must be removed before using the case, and the trigger encasement is a must have. That said this is a great item minus the smell. Its odd. I kept a bar of soap wrapped in a tissue for the first few months when it was not being used, now its fine lol.

I bought this CTA case expecting it to be lightweight but durable. And it is. It has a great value, slim enough to fit into my pocket, good zipper quality. I could go on and on about the case, it pretty good except for one thing that is partly my fault. I have noticed that games like to fall out of the slot to hold them. I have lost my copy of Assassins Creed Liberation (I found that) and Persona 4 Golden (Very disappointed that I couldnt find that, but Im happy to give Atlus the money). Its partly my fault, partly the cases, so either be on the look out, dont carry extra games, or get another case. I recommend the

The case is good and sturdy which makes for good protection. This is good if you are prone to dropping your handheld games or carry around your portables in a purse or bag where it can be crushed or scratched by other items. My only complaint is that while it does contain slots to hold other game cards, they do not seem to hold well and the game cards tend to slip out easily. I have actually lost game cards this way so I wouldnt advise using it to carry anything but the Vita itself.
