CTA Digital PS Vita Travel EVA Protective Case

> 3 dayThis is exactly what I needed. Its large enough to fit the Vita and a few games, but small enough that it doesnt take up much space in my backpack. The case is actually tougher than I expected - the outside is almost a hard shell. The inside is fully lined with a fairly soft fabric... you wont have to worry about your Vita getting scratched by the insides of the case. Theres a carabiner clip on the outside, as well as an attachment so you can thread a belt through it. I didnt want to buy the Sony carrying case, because its an open design and doesnt even protect the sides of the Vita. I didnt want to buy the Sony travel pouch because its way too big. Considering the cost, I think this is an excellent value for a no-nonsense, simple protective case.

Greater than one weekI wanted a case that would protect my Vita (PCH-2000), from being crushed in my backpack. I carry in my backpack a 15.6in gaming laptop, its huge charger, a 3DS (which is in its own case), and I also commute 3 hours on the bus. Thus, Ive been looking for a case that isnt too heavy or bulky so it will actually fit with all my other stuff, but still be able to protect my vita against the other things in my backpack and the occasionally roughhousing on the bus. This case has does the job wonderfully! It will be a tight fit if you try to fit the Vita (specifically, PCH-2000), through the elastic band holders at the bottom. But just laying the Vita on top of them works just fine. The little game cartridges go in and out of those 4 little slots easily as well and the hard outer shell is very sturdy! The one I ordered did smell kind of like smoke or something. But a couple sprays of Febreze fixed that just fine. I definitely recommend it!

> 3 dayFor the price it wont get much better than this. I just wanted something to keep my Vita safe while out and about. As someone else suggested in one of the reviews, dont use the elastic bands, just let the vita sit on top of them and then zip up the case. The problem is to use the bands you have to force the vita into the case and I just dont feel comfortable doing that as im trying to have the Vita last for many years to come. The case is solid and well built and I feel confident that dropping this a few feet up with my vita inside will do next to nothing to the Vita.

> 3 dayThis case is great, sure if feels cheaply construced but its strong enough to protect your Vita. It has a 1 zipper closure, i would of loved 2 zippers so you can close from either side. The elastic straps are nice, keeps your Vita from moving around inside, but if you dont like them you can cut them off with scissors, no problem. It has a middle flap where you can store upto 4 games (but the memory cards are too small the hold securely) and also mesh pouches where you could hold head phones or the USB cord. The outer case is a hard fabric style case. It comes with a metal clip/carabiner. For $10 its a great deal, i recomend.

> 3 dayPros: *Easy to use and get started *Runs relatively fast *You can download games when connected to the internet Cons: *The internet does not work at locations where you need to sign in or agree to user terms (hotels, starbucks, etc) *Holding the device is not comfortable after a few hours *The Playstation network and login is silly and overly complex

05-04-2025Iv had this case for a few weeks to hold my vita. I like thew case a lot i had a crystal case for it for the longest time and really just wanted something to put in my pocket. the only thing i didnt like about the case was the two holders that come inside the case to basically keep the vita secure in the case. I was afraid of it taring up my analog sticks. its easy to remove tho. And i rated only 4 stars because nothing in this world is perfect.

Greater than one weekits a necessity if you have a psvita. it did smell funny when i first opened it but it will go away after sometime. the only bad thing about this is that the game cartridge will come out of the pockets easily. if i shake the case and open it odds are that the games are out of their pockets and scattered on the thing. i kind of fixed the issue by buying some velcro and sticking it on the ends so the flap stays closed and the games dont go flying out every where.

> 3 dayIt does its job. Can use it with a shell case on the Vita. Not a real fan of the elastic bands to hold the Vita in. The flap that holds the games, memory cars, and other items feels flimsy. Time will tell.

Greater than one weekThis is by no means the most expertly constructed electronics case. It has a few loose stitches around the game entry area and the quality of the internal materials isnt stellar. But for less than $10, this is a fantastic buy to protect the Vita. Mine didnt smell at all like some people have said. I removed the straps as I didnt really see the point in them personally. Seems like a matter of opinion and how you will use the case that will dictate whether you keep them. Its not a super fancy case, but it for sure gets the job done on the cheap. Other than that, a great case that I would highly recommend.
