I was skeptical at first looking at this case since most of the reviews by people that said they liked this case were from 2012, and most of the reviews from 2014 said the case was horrible and smelled bad. I ended up buying this case anyway and I think it is as perfect as i could have asked for. My case doesnt smell like burning rubber in fact the only way I could even smell this case was if I stuck my nose against it, if you back your nose up an inch you cant detect it, but even when you do get next to it, it only smells like a shoe does when you first buy it. overall this case is very sturdy and the game slots fit fine, I dont think I couldve asked for a better quality item at 8 dollars. Verdict: *Quite affordable *Very snug *The straps can be a tad annoying but they do keep the vita very secure *Doesnt smell bad *Feels like it is high quality You really cant go wrong for 8 bucks, Id suggest this case.

If you are looking to protect your PS Vita, this case will certainly do that well; however, there are two things that really annoy me about this case. The first is that the straps that hold the vita in place mess with the sticks, and this worries me that it could mess them up over time. My other issue is that the memory card compartments are only functional for the vita games bought in store, not extra memory cards. I bought the Vita bundle with a 4gb card, and it has fallen out numerous times, but luckily I noticed it fell out. It is an annoyance to have to check if it is still there every time I open it up so that I know whether or not it fell out. Simply making this section of the case a solid zippered compartment would easily have remedied this issue. Pros: Durable Cons: Straps mess with sticks, Memory cards fall out of their compartment

It does an alright job at protecting my PS Vita. The exterior is quite tough and I dont worry about it damaging the Vita while its inside, but its somewhat of a hassle taking the Vita out of it. There are elastic straps that you can wrap around your Vita on the bottom portion of the case, but it makes it far too cumbersome to remove your Vita while its in there, and its not like its going to slide around that much anyway. The top flap can hold up to four game cards or memory cards, but its impossible to see which one is which and they dont fit in terribly well. Its still better than nothing, though.

For the price, this travel case is tough to beat. And for $10, there are some expected minor construction issues, in particular the stitching. The belt loop on the sample I received was stitched at an off angle (the entire belt loop, not the stitching holding the belt loop in place). Not a problem for me since I have no intention of ever wearing this on my belt, but it does indicate a slight lack of attention to detail and care from the factory worker who did the stitching. The stitching on the game card pockets on the inside flap was particularly sub par and popped when inserting a game card, probably they are stitched onto a loose mesh material. The rear mesh tends to catch corners as well, making it difficult to easily slide game cards in place. The insert flap is made out of a neoprene-like foam material and should provide minor padding for the PSV. The mesh stitched onto the insert forms two pockets for storing headphones, a cleaning cloth or a memory card case. The case is made out of thermo-molded sheets of EVA plastic covered with nylon weave on the outside and a soft, low pile nylon lining on the inside. The PSV fits very snugly inside, making it about a slim as possible for a semi-hard shell case that should provide a higher degree of impact protection than a soft nylon sleeve or bag, and a higher level of crush protection due to the semi-rigid shell. It is not a hard case made out of rigid plastic. Design-wise, there was enough care made to include features like the belt loop and a removable lightweight carabiner to attach the case to a bag or belt loop, but neither are really necessary since the overall size of the PSV is more conducive to slipping into a bag or inside jacket pocket. There are two elastic straps sewn into the bottom of the case to hold the PSV in place, presumably to keep people from dumping their console on the ground if theyre holding the case upside down or sideways when opening it. Again, not really necessary and they take extra time to slip on and off. Many will probably end up snipping them off since they never use them, but its possible to just drop the PSV on top of the elastic straps as if they werent even there and the case still zips ups easily. The double zipper has a smooth action. The case lies between a nylon sleeve that mostly provides scratch protection and a hard shell case that provides impact and crush protection. Since the case fits snugly, it adds minimal bulk for those who dont want a blocky hard case or a padded nylon bag large enough to store everything including the PSV AC adapter. Overall, its a perfect slim fit holster for the PSV that works well as a permanent protective storage unit when not being used or plugged into a charge cradle. I would gladly pay $20 for the same design with better construction, better stitching, better game card pockets, a higher quality liner (like the material used in the Madcatz 3DS case), but for $10 it pretty much met expectations and fit the bill perfectly as a place to keep the PSV at home and on the go.

I LOVE THIS THING! It holds ten games, holds my Fire Emblem Fates 3DS XL, aaaannd my 20th anniversary Pokémon 3DS---- at the same time! With headphones. Man I love it. Its actually the best case Ive ever had. And Ive been through a lot of cases! I carry it over my neck to my side everywhere I go. The outside is hard, and it doesnt scuff or scratch any of your precious 3Ds XL/3DS little/DS/DSis it keeps them safe and secure within its sweet meshable embrace! My 3Dss mean a lot to me. I own several, but only have two in use at any one time. Im confident that it would hold two XLs if I wanted, but since they came out with the changeable faceplate ones in America I keep one of those and an XL on me at all times. Along with all my downloaded games. So Im pleased it securely holds the few hard copies I do have. I havent once had a problem when I opened it, of anything being out of place. I really have no cons about this product at all.

I bought this for my son for Christmas and I couldnt have made a better choice. Its just padded enough to protect the Vita when he throws it in his backpack to head to work or school. It holds a few memory cards and that all you really need, if you buy a case to hold the charger, then the compact size needed to made it truly portable goes out the window! The zipper is a very good quality and this one didnt have the intense odor others have spoken about. After it was opened on Christmas morning, we put it outside on the deck to air out ...just in case it did. The stitching is perfect and for the price, come on folks, this is a fantastic buy! When you think about what the Vita costs, this is a very needed purchase the day you buy it.

Its generally a good case; nothing too fancy. Fits the Vita 2000/slim well, is fairly sturdy, and at a decent price. The inside straps arent very useful, as its very difficult to get the Vita in/out of them, but they also arent necessary. The downside: a STRONG chemical smell. I saw other reviews mention it before buying, but figured it wasnt a big deal. However, after multiple dryer sheets and liberal use of febreeze, the smell is still there. It even clings to the Vita itself for quite a while after removing it from the case. Its not the end of the world, but is bothersome enough to make me consider another case.

Nice case. I was looking for something not to big, but would protect my Vita. This fits both requirements very well. Not a lot of room for storage, but I wasnt look for that type of case. There is enough to old several games, a charging cable and an adapter so you can charge it from a common USB wall charger.

I ordered 2 of these ,mince both my son and I have the ps vita. He received his today and I checked it out. Its pretty solid and the pockets for the games is a pretty good bonus. The straps dont seem like a big deal and they dont HAVE to be used if youre uncomfortable with them, but they do hold the system in the case firmly. Im just a bit disappointed that mine is taking so long to ship. :-(
