> 3 dayWe purchased this vacuum since our son had the iRobot and really liked it for carpet. This vacuum will go around and vacuum the carpet without getting stuck, but will still leave pet fur behind. I thought that it was doing a great job getting all of the dog fur since the bin was filling up, but my husband rubbed his foot along the top of the carpet after the robot had done its job, and there was still a lot of fur on the surface that I didnt see. I would recommend this vacuum to use when you dont have time to clean with a regular vacuum. It will get a lot of the stuff left on the floor, but you will need to vacuum with something that has greater suction to get a deep clean. If you dont have carpet, I think this vacuum would do an amazing job!

> 3 dayAfter ordering this, a family member with an older model warned me that non-mapping Roombas get stuck a lot, so I was a little concerned. it turns out, I had no reason to be. While this model doesnt map your house (and so isnt quite as efficient), it does a great job of keeping itself from getting stuck and follows a pattern that gets rooms vacuumed effectively. It does have flexible brushes that dislodge larger objects that might be up against a wall or baseboard, but it doesnt clean corners especially well (and obviously cant vacuum stairs), so occasional, manual vacuuming of those areas is still required. It does return to its charging station automatically, but only if it has a clear path AND wifi connection. It also alerts you to problems (like when it vacuumed my daughters phone charger) via the app, but, again, only if it has a good wifi connection - so if you have wifi-dark areas in your home, it might not always work as intended. For the price, Im beyond satisfied. The only reason for the four-star review is that its not as efficient as a mapping model and doesnt hit corners. Its great in every other way!

Greater than one weekThe positives: I use it every day. Just turn it on and let it go. One day is downstairs, the next day is upstairs. It senses drop offs so it doesn’t fall down any stairs. It runs for about 90 minutes, gets underneath furniture, zig zags everywhere, is meticulous around corners and grooves it can get into. When it runs downstairs where the base is it docks itself when the battery is dying. After running it several days in a row I have noticed a decrease in the amount of dirt, dust, dog hair and human hair it catches. The negatives: it’s dirt receptacle is very small. Doesn’t hold much and has to be emptied every time. It can’t get into inside corners very well, only outside. There is a fan of some sort that blows as it moves around and it does tend to blow debris around or the little brushes end up throwing the debris off to the side. While it can make it over ledges in the floor, like rugs or wood separating rooms, there are certain rugs it struggles with like bathroom rugs or any rug that has strings hanging around on it as it wants to suck them up. I have not used the remote. Call it laziness on my part. I carry it upstairs on those days and I jus5 lean down and hit the go button when it’s downstairs. Knowing how some of these models are so extremely expensive I am very happy with the performance of this inexpensive model. So what if I have to still vacuum periodically in the corners and the stairs. This is well worth the money!

> 3 dayI’ve owned a few different brand named robot vacs in the past but this one is by far the best one! First of all, very easy to clean all the brushes and dump out the dust reservoir. I shed a lot of hair and it gets caught in the main brush but when it comes down to cleaning it, the mechanism pops out easy and I can remove all the caught hair. The robot is very efficient and thorough, it is slightly elevated and can sorta “climb” things? Due to this detail, it means it can get stuck in things but also has an advantage of being able to vacuum thicker rugs around your home and climb over doorways that may have a bump. The battery life is also insane! All in all, the Highest Standard for robot vacs. Get it!!!

> 3 dayI am very pleased with my vacuum. It does a great job on my hardwoods and transition well three to the rugs. It’s very easy to clean once your finished vacuuming. Comes with great filters that are easy to clean as well.

> 3 dayIt does a terrific job climbing up on to my rugs from the hardwood, and over bits of trim between rooms. It manages the cat fur tumbleweeds all over my house. It avoids falling down the stairs every time. I have about 800 square feet on my main floor, and the robot gets that job tackled in about 70 minutes. About one out of a dozen times it will get hung up on my pedestal style dining table. It goes up the pedestal foot like a ramp, it’s wheels come off the floor and it hangs there helpless. Then it calls me for help. No big. I wish it had a lower profile so it could clean under my couch. That feels like a couch problem though, not a robot problem. I occasionally wish I’d splurged on a model with mapping so I could ask it to clean a specific room while I’m not in it. That sounds like a me problem though, not a robot problem. A lot of reviews complain about things that I feel are lack of maintenance. Low suction- replace the filter. Not picking up hair any more- clean or replace the brush. The spinny bit that cleans along the baseboard isn’t spinning- take it off and clean it. Not charging- clean the contacts. The parts are cheap. The maintenance is easy. Take care of your Roomba and it will take care of you.

Greater than one weekI’ve had this vacuum a while now and it works great on hard floors and is convenient not to have to vacuum the entire apartment . However, I have an area rug in one room and carpet in my living room and have to go over them with my Dyson upright to get what my robot vacuum missed, even after running the robot 3 times in one day, my Dyson had an empty canister and picked up a lot of left over dust and pet hair.

> 3 daySo I have a yellow lab whose job it is to deposit many dogs worth of hair around the house. With hardwood floors, after a day it doesnt look like I ever vacuum. This is a nice sub $200 solution. For less than I pay my cleaning lady, my floors stay nice looking all week. The added benefit is that it helps force me to take the extra 2 minutes prior to leaving the house to get things off the floor. The one downside is having to empty the thing every time when I get home. The debris catcher is always full of dog hair.
