JanSport Big Student Backpack-School, Travel, or Work Bookbag-with 15-Inch-Laptop Compartment, Black, One Size

I purchased this backpack for my husband who carries his laptop back and forth to work. He also travels internationally with it being used as his personal item. It functions as his mobile desk and the multiple pockets contain all the things he needs on a daily basis (paper, pencil, pens, mouse, speaker, headphone/microphone) plus all the things he needs when he travels internationally (passport, neck pillow, Beats headphones, snacks, extra shirt & snacks). Backpack seems to be typical high Jansport quality. He says it is comfortable to carry and the laptop seems protected, but the straps dont seem as cushy as the last Jansport he had.

Ive bought fancy (and expensive ) messenger bags that brag about their toughness and durability. With my daily use Ive had zippers and shoulder straps fail - and none of them had lifetime guarantees. I threw up my hands after the failure of my last bag and returned to an old trusted name - I sometimes have to rummage for items but Jansport still makes a great and tough pack!

My son runs through bags very guickly but this bag is very strong and is lasting very long.

This will be the last bag I purchase thanks to the lifetime warranty and its size.much larger than expected. Its been tested with numerous shopping trips to grocery, liquor and hardware store. When the inside get full it gets tied down to the out side examples being lawn chairs, lumber, and a ceramic birdbath on onetrip. Its serving its purpose, no complaints.

I bought this specifically for a carryon bag for Spirit airlines. It is perfect. I have other travel backpacks but they are heavy even empty. This bag is light as a feather when empty so I knew I could carry more in it, and not be overwhelmed by any extra weight of the bag itself. I got the idea from my kids. They have had these as school backpacks for years. When we flew on Spirit, they used these. I was jealous as I was using my big heavy Swiss Gear backpack. In the Jansport backpack I was able to fit 2 laptops (specialzed work and personal), a tablet, 2 days of clothes, a light sweater, toiletry bag and all my charges. Fit perfectly under seat in front of me on Spirit. I dont even know if I will ever carry a roller bag again on an airplane.

This backpack has tons of pockets and a great sleeve/area for a laptop. I had a high end backpack that I have always worried someone would steal from the beach or pool because they wanted the backpack itself. This standard classic JanSport backpack is perfect to take to the pool or beach or school or to use as an overnight bag or carry on. I have only had it for a few months, but it seems super durable and sturdy. It is not a super exciting thing to review, but I have nothing but positive things to say about this classic backpack

This was to replace the one I used to commute to work and travel with. My advice is pick the color you like, because this thing will last for years. I needed a pack quick back when and only could get a purple. Didnt love the color, but figured I would switch when it broke down. 10 years go by and the only damage is the water bottle holder stretched out. Thats not when it broke down. Thats when I found the tag with the lifetime guarantee. Years after that, with daily use and overstuffing it a strap broke. I got the same pack in red, a color I am very fond of.

I searched in every store for a Jansport backpack. Nowhere to be found. So glad I could count on Amazon. This backpack is large and durable. I dont doubt it will last the high school years and on into college. Large capacity.
