> 3 dayI have multiple Kasa products and used them for several years. I have not had any problems with these products and love the features. I would love to see an emergency button on the app that turns on all connected lights. This would be great to help public safety responders locate you residence or scaring away criminals.

Greater than one weekI purchased this to replace a smart plug that could not take the Las Vegas heat - early days, but so far, so good with the Kasa. Easy to set up and works fine with Alexa. I had an early concern as the pics on Amazon show the Kasa with a straight and a 90 degree plug - a kind Amazoner answered my question, saying that his was a 90 degree - which is what I needed - so I ordered one. Had a bad moment when it arrived and the photo on the box showed a straight plug, but the Kasa itself is a 90 degree plug and works well. Ill update if I experience heat failure with this unit.

> 3 dayI have been using Kasa smart plugs inside my house for a couple of years now, and have found them to be quite satisfactory for the price, so when I wanted to expand the system to include my deck lights, a Kasa Wi-Fi Outdoor Plug was the logical choice since it uses my existing Kasa/Google ecosystem. For reasons I don’t fully understand, getting this smart plug set up and running on my wi-fi network was a little more complicated than with the indoor smart plugs. For whatever reason, it would not go into setup mode when plugged in on the deck, where it would ultimately reside. After several tries, I moved it first to the kitchen and then to the living room, where my wi-fi router is located, before I was able to successfully complete the setup and then move it to the deck, plug it in out there and connect the lights. The network now recognizes and communicates with on the deck it just fine. Once it was fully registered on the Kasa app, it took just a few seconds to also register it on my Google Home app, giving me voice control via my Google Nest speakers as well as control from my smart phone. The best part of all is finally being able to turn my deck lights on and off remotely and without having to fumble with the plug in the dark—or even go outside. The smart plug has only just been installed so time will tell how well it holds up to the elements.

> 3 dayGreat product.....does what it was intended to do. Have it set up for backyard accent lighting. I use the scheduled timer to turn it on and off automatically. The app works great!

> 3 dayWas looking for a timer/dimmer to control the LED string Lights I have going around my pool fence. The bulbs are 1w LEDs and there are 96 ( 4 strings of 24 bulbs each) of them. I saw this dimmer and figured I give it a try. Out of the box the first thing you need to do is download the app for the unit and you must also have a wifi signal in the area you are going to place it. From the app you can create on/off schedules and adjust the brightness. I was most impressed with the dimming range on my lights as they can go from 1% -100% and there is no flickering!! The unit is also controllable via Alexa or Google home. I have it linked to my Google home and so far it has been flawless. I would not hesitate to buy one of these again.

> 3 dayDespite being “#1 Best Seller in Plug-In Dimmers“ according to this site, this device does not, in fact, dim. Not this company’s fault though so I’m giving it 5 stars as a fine smart on/off switch but returning it tomorrow.

> 3 dayI use these to control my low voltage yard lights and seasonal Christmas lights. I really like the turn on 15 minutes before sunset feature. It turns the lights on before it gets dark no matter what time of year it is. Beats having to readjust mechanical timer pins as the length of days change. I have had these for over a year and have had no problems. I keep them in a waterproof sockit box so I cant attest to how waterproof they are. I also like the alexa integration feature.

> 3 dayJust put 36 Enbrighten café lights on my patio because they are commercial-grade for outside and have a lifetime warranty. However, they are too bright and I had no idea they were marked as non-dimmable. I got this plug in hope it would make some difference and it does!! You have to set the calibrator on the very lowest and then set to 0% but now they are perfect! They are connected to a switch inside and when I turn off and on they stay at the same low level. Absolutely saved me from having my neighbors complain!! Thank you!

Greater than one weekHigh quality piece but you need a whole house smart system. Silly me thought I could just use it with my wifi. Returned without issue.
