Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

I have purchased 10 of the Kingston 240GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/240G and have had zero issues with performance. You can install in laptop and boot from USB to write OS, or simply clone with an Inatek available on Amazon. Complaints about lack of clone software and UEFI issues stem from users that dont know how to boot into bios to change boot device and add legacy support. GREAT SSDs. Buying more on Prime Days!

Most of these el cheapo $20 120gb drives lack 3D nand which makes them slow but i was impressed with the speeds of the A400.

I found a lap top in the trash, so I threw one of these in it. Its PDQ now, but something this size would only be good for a family pictures, email, browsing machine.

My son popped this into my computer and had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. No issues and its working great. An inexpensive solution to extend the life of my computer for a little longer. 10/10

i know some of these reviews with low reading is due to having a sata II motherboard. My benchmarks actually surprised the hell out of me. very impress for the price i got it when it was on lightning sale for 32 bucks. What a steal. From my experience with the samsung ssd, speeds are way higher but in all honesty you cant tell the difference. Now switching from a hdd to ssd it a must. Especially for boot up. anyways very happy with my purchase.

Everyone should replace their old SATA hard drive with an SSD. This is a cost effective way to give older laptops a new lease on life. Inexpensive price, well worth the effort to clone the old hard drive to this new SSD.
