> 3 dayI have bought several of these. For the price you can’t beat them. I have them in desktops and laptops. It made a dramatic difference in the performance of a netbook with only an Atom processor and 2gb ram.

17-12-2024Good ssd. But sadly this one does not come with acron (however you spell it) imaging software. So if you need to clone an old boot drive you need to either find something free of buy separately for cloning.

> 3 dayI think the drive I was sent is faulty. After installing it into my PC, I noticed that it showed up under device manager, but not file explorer or disk management (Windows 10). I inquired about this on Reddit, and they said it was most likely a faulty drive. I tried installing it in another PC, but the same issue happened.

> 3 dayWorked great for a little over a year then it just died and I cannot access anything on the drive. I got this to use in an older laptop that we used mainly to access the internet. It was easy to install and worked great but one day it froze and will not reboot. Pulled it out and tried to connect to other computers with a USB cable and no luck, it is dead. I went with Kingston because it is a name brand and I thought it would last. This was on a laptop that gets little use and is powered on and off with each use, maybe used 2-3 times a week.

Greater than one weekNever buy anything but Kingston- I purchased some Patriot drives at a lower price and experienced data lose when the drive failed 4 months into it.
