> 3 dayI recently upgraded to a 4K GoPro Hero 6 and quickly found my computer wasnt capable of playing back the video. Even worse, editing video became painfully slow. Im using this Kingston SSD as an external drive specifically for video playback and editing. So far so good, video load times are faster than ever and editing is much less painful on my Intel Core I5 machine.

> 3 dayI bought this for an old laptop I had and man did it breath new life into it I didnt need a ton of space since my son mostly used it for YouTube but having this over a regular hard drive I 100% suggest it

> 3 dayRunning an old Acer Aspire 5742z (2011 i believe?) ... the stock 5400rpm drive finally crashed, so i ordered & installed this and put my recovery discs to good use. Wew this machine runs fast compared to before! Stuff just opens, no stall time, and its a lot quieter now that theyre no HDD whirling around in there.

> 3 dayThis product does exactly what it says it will. 10/10 product. Its hard to write an interesting review on an SSD if it works as it should. Not much else to say other than, if you need a good SSD for a laptop, this will do the trick. You wont be setting any read-write speed records or anything but for the price its an amazing deal.

29-12-2024Awesome update to my 8 year old optiplex business pc. I used Macrium software to clone the original hard drive (free) than swapped it out. You will need either an extra data cable to connect this to your motherboard or one of those USB data and sata cables to make this work. Dont forget to buy more RAM. This is a cheap and effective way to breathe life into your old system

> 3 dayI like the Kingston management software that tracks the SSD health, errors, etc. I would get a larger capacity drive with prices relatively low right now.
