> 3 dayIts too cheap to be good. I bought this to replace at 13 year old 16Gb Super Talent SSD for the OS drive on a home file sever. The most action this thing would get was DB hits from the file server (actual files were on a separate ZFS array). So, not a lot going on in terms of writes/reads.

> 3 dayAs a 30-year+ computer guy, this is the only SSD drive I have ever purchased which worked perfectly when installed but failed totally with 2 weeks. I seriously recommend you spend a few more dollars and purchase a more dependable drive. While Kingston replaced the drive, (unit was outside the Amazon 30-day limit but was in my inventory a couple of months before I used it) I had to pay return shipping charges plus I now have another which I do not trust to use with a customer. Why did I buy it? Low sale price.

> 3 dayI bought and installed this is Feb 2019 in an old budget laptop running running an AMD A4-5000 with and 6 GB ram. The laptop was basically unusable with the original HDD. It was painfully slow. I decided to give this SSD a try before I junked it and 2 years later I’m still using it. Substantially quicker, easy to install and 2 years later it’s still working as expected. Would buy again.

> 3 dayI bought this last year to upgrade my Thinkpad X230 and its much better than a hard drive. Even though it is DRAM-less, it hasnt failed and provides pretty snappy performance for something this cheap. I would recommend the 240 GB drives in general because most 240 GB and higher drives are higher end than cheaper 128 GB drives. This one, is listed at 80 TBW (which I thought was quite low) but it still works even after several wipe downs and several windows installations. Though, my experience could mean I rolled a 6 with the dice, but I still think its a pretty good SSD for the price.
