Items works well, I have never used a toner that was perfect, they can all be a bit staticky if that is a word. This did do what it was supposed to do though. Let me trace some 110v electrical wires in my home. At one time I used these for work for IT cables often. They will let you trace any copper wire but you do need access to the actual copper part of the wire with either the clamps or the connector.

the tool functions well, and has some nice features. While i was walking the wand fell out of my tool belt and hit a tile floor. The tip broke off of the wand reducing the sensitivity to almost useless. I am disappointed in a tool, built to do work, breaking after a 3ft drop

Had some internet wires all over the house wasnt sure when I got downstairs which one I was working with hook this up to 1 end of the wire and found the other end right away thankyou this tool is a MAJOR time saver
