> 3 dayThis did exactly what I wanted it to do - help me find out where the cables from various telephone jacks were terminated on a telco terminal strip in a basement. The tone generator will generate a variety of tones both steady tones and the good old two tone signals.

> 3 dayI originally bought this to trace a short in a wiring harness. That project still hasnt gotten off the ground (the short is intermittent and has decided to go away for a while) so this tracer has been in my toolbox for months.

> 3 dayInstructions not clear, but it’s a great product for tracing wires. It is great with 120volt wires, but make sure power is off to circuit. It is confusing because it says only use on 60volt and under and 20 volt and under for energized wires.

> 3 dayThis product was fantastic. It helped me locate an un known circuit from my service panel. Was easy to work with and made my repair so much easier.

Greater than one weekI used to tone and identify 18 gauge data wires and 16 gauge low voltage cables behind drywall. I was able to locate hidden wire behind the dry wall. Its a keeper.

> 3 dayCame here from Fluke Networks IntelliTone Pro 200. So far Klein tools toner kit has much better durability and accuracy, much like their electrical multimeter, which I also own.

> 3 dayIt did not generate any discernible tone when trying to trace a CAD 5 wire within a bundle of CAD 5 wires. Really disappointing. I will return and hope to get a refund.
